I got this toy for me more than my husband, because I personally like a little more stimulation, and we really had a good time with it. The ring is soft and rubbery but the bullets vibrate pretty strong so you get a nice feeling without anything jabbing or making you or him uncomfortable. One of the nice things about this ring is that you can fit different size bullets in the holders. This works out well for us because the bullets with watch batteries never seem to hold out long enough and AA batteries are easier to come by. Honestly, the larger bullets would probably work better because after a couple of times switching positions one of the bullets that came with it fell out.

This toy is made out of tpr silicone, which means no silicone based lubes, so I use an all natural, plain oil (I'm not sure if this is the "correct" lube, but it works for us) and it went well. I washed it with mild soap and warm water before and after and it was relatively easy to clean, just make sure you get all the crevices.

My husband, who is about as far from opinionated as it gets, said, and I quote: "Yeah. Its good". Now, the translation to that is he liked it and he probably would recommend it. He's pretty laid back and doesn't seem to have an opinion about much. So, if your guy likes vibration it seems he would like this product.

A note on the noise level: This toy, when not pressed against anything, is LOUD. As in, it can be heard through blankets and possibly doors.If it has something pressed to it, you don't really hear anything much, but if you move, and it is free from pressure, it will sound like an electric toothbrush. One of the old ones where your entire house knows you are brushing your teeth. That was just our experience with it. But, to us anyway, the noise level is worth it because it has a really nice level of vibration when it is turned on.
