My wife and I were both interested in trying this out, since neither of us had seen one before. Unfortunately, it was hard to enter and even harder to stay inside with how much it pushed. I'm definitely going to try a more expensive sleeve, but this one was a bit of a let down.

Use

The Virgin Mesh is a fairly standard masturbation sleeve. My wife and I tried this together with both her using it on me and me using it on myself. Unfortunately, neither of us were really impressed with this sleeve. It was hard to use the first time and the interior air pressure made it hard to enter and stay inside instead of creating a suction on withdrawal.

Material / Texture

The exterior of the Virgin Mesh is a hard plastic shell. The interior is made from a soft, squishy silicone. The inside has a number of ridges, but unfortunately, the silicone interior isn't removable, so I wasn't able to get a real good look at the ridge pattern.

Being made from plastic and silicone, there was a very slight scent when we unwrapped the Virgin Mesh, but it dissipated quickly.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The size and shape of the Mesh work well with the hard plastic shell and deep silicone sleeve. Unfortunately, there is what I consider to be a major design flaw - the silicone sleeve can't be removed from the plastic shell. This makes it very difficult to clean the sleeve and made sure it's sanitized.

Care and Maintenance

Taking care of the Virgin Mesh is fairly straight forward because of the design. After it has been used, it's a matter of repeatedly filling and emptying it with soapy water then using a cleaning spray. Unfortunately, due to the silicone sleeve being permanently attached to the plastic shell, you can't turn it inside out and verify that it's clean.
Follow-up commentary
I've tried this a few times now because I wanted to like it, but this sleeve is just difficult to use and doesn't add enough stimulation to be worth the downside.

    I was going to say I was jealous that you got to review it because I had wanted one of them to surprise my fiance with, but now, I'm not sad I missed out. I never even though about the fact that it doesn't have a screw on base like a Fleshlight does and that would make it less than ideal to use. What a bummer. I'll be taking this off my wish list right now! That cleaning process just sounds SO annoying- no thanks!

    Nice review, thanks! I have a similar one (also by Galaku) to review but we just got it the other day & haven't tested it yet. We did open and thoroughly inspect it, and it appears to have the same drawbacks as yours. Is yours marked "One Time Use Only"? Ours is (in very small print on an information sheet stuck to the outside of the cup), and $20 seems way too expensive for a one-use toy! We've also tried one other, "Beauty Sleeve" by Toy's Heart, and although it doesn't have a hard cup shell, it seems to be better quality and much easier to clean. The sleeve is a lot thicker and can be turned inside out for cleaning. Have you tried a Fleshlight or Flip Hole? We're thinking it's time to spring for one, probably a Fleshlight.
