Wave of the future?
The Tenga Egg is a unique and interesting take on the Male Masturbator. The low price allows you to buy several and try out the various textures, and softens the blow a bit if it wears out. Don;'t be fooled by the small package...this toy offers a lot of pleasure!Published: July 15, 2010
Pros:
Cheap, Interesting, Discreet, Works Well, Pure Silicone
Cons:
It will rip if you're too rough with it, and bigger guys might rip it sooner than later.
The first time I saw the Tenga Egg Masturbator was on an XTube video. The guy using it seemed to have a good time, and watching the egg like thing slide up and down his penis was interesting to say the least. Curiosity overtook me and I ordered the Wavy version, not really sure of whether or not to expect a masturbator or a novelty toy. When it arrived, I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical that this thing could get me off at all...would it really be any better than a hand job? I decided to explore that question right away, and I gotta say, i was pleasantly surprised! The silicone material stretches a LOT. I'd say you could get 7 or 8 inches in there. The sensation is a bit hard to describe...I haven't really felt anything that I could compare it to...obviously it feels a lot like a hand job, since that's essentially what you're doing; giving yourself a hand job. It is a lot better that using your bare hand though, and I was surprised at how intense my orgasm was! I also found that it worked quite well as a cover for my open ended toys. All in all, an interesting little masturbator!
Detailed Ratings:
Size
The Tenga Eggs start out ridiculously small, but stretch to amazing lengths! The small size does make them a little hard to manipulate though, but on the other hand, it does allow them to be very discreet.
20/30
Material
The silicone material of the Egg feels pretty good, but it's too thin to really stimulate you. I was impressed by the lack of a strange odor, and by how versatile the material is.
13/20
Safety
Silicone gets a full 10/10 on the EF Safety Scale! Here's what they have to say about it "Silicone is smooth and not porous. Silicone can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher." Also, please use only water based lubes!
10/10
Color
This particular version comes in (wait for it) eggshell white. It's too bad they didn't make it clear...that would have been HOT to see your cock through it...but I'm not complaining!
10/10
Visual Appeal
I'll admit, looking at an egg is not exactly a stimulating thought. It does get points for the way it "shrinkwraps" the penis!
10/20
Ease of use
The Tenga Egg is pretty easy to use...just lube up, insert yourself, stretch it down your shaft and start stroking! It does take some practice to get a rhythm going, but after that it's as easy as jacking off!
32/40
Tightness
The Tenga Egg, unfortunately, does not offer very much tightness other than that supplied by your own hand.
20/40
Suction
The Tenga egg offers a little bit of suction, but not much.
11/30
Sensation
The Tengs Egg does deliver a pretty good orgasm! I was pleasantly surprised that this little thing could do such a good job!
45/60
Cleanup
This is by far one of the easiest toys I have ever cleaned! Turn the whole thing inside out and rinse...that's it!
20/20
Versatility
Funny story...I was about to write my review and mention that, after a whole month, it had yet to rip. In order to refresh my memory concerning this toys attributes, I decided to use it...and it ripped. Still, it took a lot of abuse before ripping, especially for the price!

Anyone have this product? Does it work well?

What does everyone who has it think? Do you know anyone with it?

From what I've seen, the general consensus is that the Tenga Eggs are pretty nice for the price (rhyme not intended, haha!). A lot of people recommend them to guys as first-time strokers, since they're cheap and disposable.
Before asking questions like this in the forum, though, read a few of the reviews. I find that it's usually helpful to read at least one from someone who really liked it and one from someone who didn't, so you can get an idea from both sides. :)

tenga+strap-on?
-
I don't know why, but I keep fantasizing about jerking off my strap-on/hard pack cock with a tenga egg. I feel kinda ridiculous about it but WHY NOT POST IT ON HERE (oh god my tumblr is showing)
I know some of y'all have talked about getting head on your strap-on...but this just seems a little weird. I have had fun jerking off my strap-on cock every once and a while too..
Has anybody had similar ideas/experiences? It's kinda the psychological aspect, like with getting head, I guess?
(And so it wouldn't be a waste, I'd give it to my partner to use after I've had my fun, seeing as I'm not gonna cum in it...) -
I wouldn't mind it, I'd probably like it more if my partner was the one playing with it for me though haha.
-
Actually I have a couple different Feeldoes, and I have thought about using our Egg on it as well. Then I reember there are better ways to get an orgasm from my Feeldoe, but eventually the need to try it will override my need for a quicker orgasm. I'll report back once I try it ;)

How does it compare to the fleshlight feeling?
-
Alan says there's no comparison; Tenga egg is more like an enhanced hand job, but the right Fleshlight is like "gettin some strange" (his words, not mine.. LOL)

Tenga Eggs and Foreskin?
-
So I'm curious because I'd love to get my boyfriend one of these. He is not circumcised, meaning he has his foreskin (thank goodness :D ) but that makes we wonder how well these would work for him. See the reason I ask is because his foreskin occasionally will get caught or pinched in a condom, and I know those are significantly tighter, but I'd hate to buy him something that ends up being uncomfortable.
Any uncut guys have experience with these toys and can give me some insight? -
I hate bumping my own posts but I'm looking for an answer ASAP... I'd like to place my order for other things tonight, and it'd be great to tack this onto the order rather than buying it separately and paying separate shipping.
-
Sorry I'm late.
My Master is also uncut and I got him a couple of Tenga eggs over the past few months. He says they're really enjoyable and they don't hurt. I do rec that your boyfriend uses lube with it, though.

Where have all the Tenga Eggs gone?
-
I'm not sure if I keep missing when these come back in stock and they just get bought up really fast or if they just aren't ordering any more. But My partner adores these eggs and would really like to try the Sparkle or Twinkle. However I've never seen them available. Anyone know what is going on with this?
-
I believe that the Tenga Sparkle and Twinkle were 2010 seasonal limited edition, so EF may not be able to get them in stock again at all. Perhaps you can file a support ticket, though, and inquire as to whether or not they will ever return to stock.

I really want to get one of both Twinkle and Sparkle for my SO, but I have yet to see them stocked myself.

Tenga Egg Material
-
I know EF has the eggs listed as being silicone but I wondered if anyone has actually flame tested one of these cute little guys.
Reason I ask is because I went searching the tenga website when someone (and I cannot for the life of me remember who) wrote a review and were unsure of the egg lotion being water or silicone based.
When I stumbled onto the tenga canada site and saw the specs for the egg it said there they are actually made of Elastomer.
So has anyone taken science into their own hands about these little suckers? -
Hmmm very interesting indeed...
We've never used one of the eggs, but I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this. Not that it would make a super huge difference simply because they're so cheap and disposable.. I wouldn't mind if it was Elastomer as opposed to silicone. I'm still gonna get one :) -
Oh for sure. It just would make a whole lot more sense right. Like why it is so disposable, why it does not seem to matter what lube you use.

Single use?
-
I'm wondering exactly why these are only single-use. I've read most of the reviews, but still do not understand exactly why (I would have commented, I just wanted to make a general discussion). Since it's silicone, shouldn't it be..? Or is it a really low-grade or soft silicone or something?
Thank you! -

Thank you!
We have one and we've only used it once so far, but the top of the egg appears to be thinning, like it will break with one or two more uses. I think it is the grade of silicone, however, I really do think they can last more than one use. Many people I know who use them get at least a few uses out of them. -
Glad someone posted on these because I'm infinitely curious about them. I hope someone does a video because I still can't get a good idea of how these work just by looking at/reading about them.

Thank you for viewing Tenga egg masturbator review page!

Hey there! Thanks for the great review.
I'm curious--how did you come up with your individual rating scale?
Nice review!
Kristi; I just started to list all the things I found important in a masturbator, and weighted them according to my preferences. I suppose everyone would be a little different, but it has seemed to work for me!
Great review!
Thank you!
