What chicken laid this? hahaha

This does get the job done and is easy to use. If you only use it once, then clean up is really easy as you just toss it in the trash. Hopefully if you have kids they won't dig it back out to play it afterward.
Published: April 10, 2011
Pros:
Small and easy to use. Easy to dispose of.
Cons:
Disposable, so not meant for many uses. For max stimulation full strokes of the dick are needed.

useful review
I decided to try this to see if what I expected was going to be true. My expectation was that, because of the design, if you stroke it mostly on the body of your dick then you won't get any more stimulation from it than using your hand.

Now this is a pretty easy thing to conceal if you want to do that. It's small enough that you could put it in your pocket and sneak it into a theater to jerk off during a movie if you wanted to. Especially since it comes with its own lube. I am not suggesting that any one do this, just saying that you probably could.

It's also very light weight, and the casing is rather decorative. One problem I do see is that if you have kids they would probably be drawn to the colorfulness of this egg. They wouldn't know what to do with it if they opened it, but it would likely be useless after they played with it. Hahaha.

It's pretty easy to use and dispose of. I suppose if you wanted to you could clean it out to get a few uses out it, but I had no interest in doing this. It gets pretty stretched out with just one use as I found out when I put it back in its case. Looking at the inside of the masturbator, I noticed that the textured part would pretty much surround the head of my dick when inserted, but not really touch it. It would mostly be rubbed on the shaft of my dick depending on what I did. I didn't notice any smell that came from the sleeve, and when used it I heard no sound.

As I expected, I got pretty much no stimulation on the head of my dick from it stretching down my dick. Most of the rubbing for me was done on the body or shaft. If I did the motions far enough then I did get stimulation on the head and it did feel good, but I don't think that the texture itself really did much for that. It was more the feel of the lube with the rubber rubbing against my dick that actually provided the stimulation. I think the stretching of the rubber makes the texture pointless.
Experience
Opening the egg to get what was inside was pretty easy. I used a small pair of scissors to open the lube that was kept inside, and squirted some into the sleeve until bubbles came out. I then kind of rolled it in my hand to get the lube to cover the inside. I know from a video that it should be kind of turned inside out and then placed on the dick, but I wanted to just try to push it on my dick without doing that and was able to do so. It did take a bit of work though. It was kind of interesting to use, as it was transparent when stretched. I suspect this would be like using the FleshLight Ice. I wouldn't mind having one of those either. Hahaha.

As I've already said, I mostly stretched it along the shaft of my dick and this is mainly because the shaft of my dick is usually all I rub when I use just my hand. I was also curious to see if the textured area would rub the head of my dick at all as it stretched and retracted, but as I expected it did not do anything for this. The only time the head of my dick was stimulated was when I let the strokes go from the shaft to the head.

One thing I couldn't help but think is that this would make an odd condom. It would be very unlikely to pop, but it would certainly get pushed inside a girls pussy, and getting it back out would probably be hard. After I climaxed I figured putting it back in the case would make disposal just as easy as just tossing it out. I didn't expect that it would be stretched out as much as it had been, but when I put it back in it was evident before I put the lid on how stretched it had become. It was even a bit harder to close.

Good critical review. I'm not sure the "hahaha"s were necessary, but otherwise good.

I find that some people don't understand when I am joking. So I figured I would make it a bit more obvious and add the hahaha's.

I think this review could use more editing. I'd really love to read more about its dimensions and the internal texture. Also, you've included some incorrect information. This toy is made out of silicone, not rubber.

Call it what you want. Sillicone is just another type of rubber to me. It might be made a bit different. It has a different texture or hardness or what ever the difference is. It's still just a type of rubber. Don't nit pick over silly details.

If you're going to complain about that. You should send Joe Rogan a msg on his message board because he calles the FleshLight a rubber pussy. lol

Silly details? Material is extremely important in health and safety. There is a difference.

Thanks fir the review! I really liked the one I tried and I can't wait to get another one

I agree with lithaewyn that specific material reference is important (some people have allergies and the like), but the tenga egg material is one I've written off since it's all over the place. Eden says its silicone, the tenga website says it's elastomer, reviewers saying plastic. I'm at a loss, with no way to prove one or the other.

I guess it doesn't matter what I call it then since no one else gets it right then. lol

As I have said else where. It is not my job to make sure you stay safe. That is your job. If you have an allergy that could cause you to die. Then it is your job to make sure the material used for what ever you buy doesn't contain the stuff that could kill you. Now if I make a product and it contains something known to cause allergic reaction. Then it is my job to put out the warning as to what the substance is so those people affecetd by it can take precations or avoid it.

whoops. meant to put this under a different topic!
    • From what I've seen, the general consensus is that the Tenga Eggs are pretty nice for the price (rhyme not intended, haha!). A lot of people recommend them to guys as first-time strokers, since they're cheap and disposable.

Before asking questions like this in the forum, though, read a few of the reviews. I find that it's usually helpful to read at least one from someone who really liked it and one from someone who didn't, so you can get an idea from both sides. :)

  • tenga+strap-on?
    • I don't know why, but I keep fantasizing about jerking off my strap-on/hard pack cock with a tenga egg. I feel kinda ridiculous about it but WHY NOT POST IT ON HERE (oh god my tumblr is showing)

I know some of y'all have talked about getting head on your strap-on...but this just seems a little weird. I have had fun jerking off my strap-on cock every once and a while too..

Has anybody had similar ideas/experiences? It's kinda the psychological aspect, like with getting head, I guess?

(And so it wouldn't be a waste, I'd give it to my partner to use after I've had my fun, seeing as I'm not gonna cum in it...)
    • I wouldn't mind it, I'd probably like it more if my partner was the one playing with it for me though haha.
    • Actually I have a couple different Feeldoes, and I have thought about using our Egg on it as well. Then I reember there are better ways to get an orgasm from my Feeldoe, but eventually the need to try it will override my need for a quicker orgasm. I'll report back once I try it ;)

  • Fleshlight
    • How does it compare to the fleshlight feeling?
    • Alan says there's no comparison; Tenga egg is more like an enhanced hand job, but the right Fleshlight is like "gettin some strange" (his words, not mine.. LOL)

  • Tenga Eggs and Foreskin?
    • So I'm curious because I'd love to get my boyfriend one of these. He is not circumcised, meaning he has his foreskin (thank goodness :D ) but that makes we wonder how well these would work for him. See the reason I ask is because his foreskin occasionally will get caught or pinched in a condom, and I know those are significantly tighter, but I'd hate to buy him something that ends up being uncomfortable.

Any uncut guys have experience with these toys and can give me some insight?
    • I hate bumping my own posts but I'm looking for an answer ASAP... I'd like to place my order for other things tonight, and it'd be great to tack this onto the order rather than buying it separately and paying separate shipping.
    • Sorry I'm late.

My Master is also uncut and I got him a couple of Tenga eggs over the past few months. He says they're really enjoyable and they don't hurt. I do rec that your boyfriend uses lube with it, though.

  • Where have all the Tenga Eggs gone?
    • I'm not sure if I keep missing when these come back in stock and they just get bought up really fast or if they just aren't ordering any more. But My partner adores these eggs and would really like to try the Sparkle or Twinkle. However I've never seen them available. Anyone know what is going on with this?
    • I believe that the Tenga Sparkle and Twinkle were 2010 seasonal limited edition, so EF may not be able to get them in stock again at all. Perhaps you can file a support ticket, though, and inquire as to whether or not they will ever return to stock.

:( I have been wondering why those are always out of stock myself. I really want to get one of both Twinkle and Sparkle for my SO, but I have yet to see them stocked myself.

  • Tenga Egg Material
    • I know EF has the eggs listed as being silicone but I wondered if anyone has actually flame tested one of these cute little guys.

Reason I ask is because I went searching the tenga website when someone (and I cannot for the life of me remember who) wrote a review and were unsure of the egg lotion being water or silicone based.

When I stumbled onto the tenga canada site and saw the specs for the egg it said there they are actually made of Elastomer.

So has anyone taken science into their own hands about these little suckers?
    • Hmmm very interesting indeed...

We've never used one of the eggs, but I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this. Not that it would make a super huge difference simply because they're so cheap and disposable.. I wouldn't mind if it was Elastomer as opposed to silicone. I'm still gonna get one :)
    • Oh for sure. It just would make a whole lot more sense right. Like why it is so disposable, why it does not seem to matter what lube you use.

  • Single use?
    • I'm wondering exactly why these are only single-use. I've read most of the reviews, but still do not understand exactly why (I would have commented, I just wanted to make a general discussion). Since it's silicone, shouldn't it be..? Or is it a really low-grade or soft silicone or something?

      Thank you!

      Hi Sir!

We have one and we've only used it once so far, but the top of the egg appears to be thinning, like it will break with one or two more uses. I think it is the grade of silicone, however, I really do think they can last more than one use. Many people I know who use them get at least a few uses out of them.
    • Glad someone posted on these because I'm infinitely curious about them. I hope someone does a video because I still can't get a good idea of how these work just by looking at/reading about them.
