I recently received the Elite 5X cock ring and was excited to surprise my girlfriend. This product from California Exotic Novelties is advertised as a 5-function couples enhancer, which has "5 hypersonic functions of vibrating, pulsating, and surging action".

This product came with two separate parts; the cock ring in the shape of a dolphin and a vibrating device attached to a remote control. This vibrating device, known as a silver bullet, has a cord and a remote control attached to it. It’s pretty simple to use because there are only two TINY holes in the dolphin's body. The first hole, in the dolphin's head, is for the silver bullet. The second hole, in the dolphin's stomach, is for your penis. Here is where my nightmare began.

Even though the cock ring is made from a Senso Plus material, which is extremely durable, the hole that you’re supposed to stick your penis through is just unbearably tight. I was able to get the silver bullet through the dolphin's head no problem, but when it came time to actually putting the cock ring on...that's a different story. I had to literally pull the dolphin apart as far as I could then quickly attempt to get the head of my penis into the tiny hole (about a quarter of an inch big...give or take a centimetre). I then begin the painful process of sliding the cock ring down the shaft to the base of my penis. I remember saying, "WOW this is a really tight fit" but my girlfriend confidently replied "just go with it!”

Well...about five minutes into sex I knew that something just didn't feel right. I slowly pulled out my penis, looked down and to my amazement/confusion/horror I noticed that my entire penis is PURPLE and BLUE. My dick was being suffocated! I freaked out and quickly ripped off the culprit (which hurt like hell), then started trying to revive my penis by swinging/slapping it around- I'm not joking I was freaked out. It is extremely durable and able to retain its shape even if you try to pull it apart. The cock ring is completely odorless, which I found to be a pleasant surprise.

The cock ring itself is in the shape of a dolphin and has two TINY holes, one for your penis and the other for the silver bullet. The dolphin shape allows the nose to act as exquisite clitoral stimulator and the tail provides fluttering action for anal stimulation.

Now going back to the two tiny holes in the dolphin...I was able to get the silver bullet (vibrating device about two inches long and an inch wide) through the dolphin's head (first hole) no problem. The second hole in the center of the dolphin's stomach is for your penis. I'm not going to lie...even though the Senso Plus material is extremely durable and stretchy, the cock ring felt uncomfortably tight.

The silver bullet vibrating device has a remote control attached to it. The electrical cord, which attaches the devices, is 32 inches long. This remote control requires two double A batteries (not included) and a hearing aid battery (which is included). The remote control has two buttons on it: one is an up arrow and the other is a down arrow. This one touch activation has 5 hypersonic functions, which are as follows: low vibration, high vibration, pulsation and vibration, high level pulsation, and low level pulsation.

The cock ring is in the shape of a dolphin. It is about 3 inches long and has two tiny holes in it about a quarter of an inch big. Although extremely durable, the cock ring itself was very hard to take on and off. It pulled hair and felt unbearably tight around the shaft of my penis.

Products made from this Senso Plus material easily attract dirt and bacteria. They cannot be disinfected and should be washed before and after each use with warm water and antibacterial toy cleaner or mild soap. The product comes with Futurotic Maintenance Powder, which is talc and fragrance free. This powder prevents the Senso Plus cock ring material from getting sticky. It comes in a 5-gram container but should last you a good while because you only need to use a minuscule amount each time.

The packaging is in no way discreet nor an accurate representation of the product, although you can't see any naughty parts. I say it's not an accurate representation of the product because in the picture the hole appears to be much bigger then it actually is. The 8.25 x 4 x 2 inch package is adorned with a purple and pink psychedelic background, a blown up picture of the product, as well as a steamy sex scene in the foreground. The back indicates the 5 different speeds the enhancer offers with manufacturing and product information.

Keep in mind, that even though the cock ring material known as Senso Plus is water repellent, this product as a whole is NOT. You do not want to wear a cock ring that requires two double A batteries and has an electrical cord and a remote control attached to it into the shower and or bath, unless you enjoy the sensation of your penis being electrocuted.
