extremely useful review
The calendar was put together by the Eden Fantasys Photography Club. These really are amateur photographers, not professionals, even though the pictures are amazingly professional looking. This is a very professional and reasonably discreet calendar. I will have no problems with displaying this in my home.

There is a small Eden Fantasys logo on the front as well as one stamped on every month on the right side of the page. The last two inside pages have a larger Eden Fantasys logo on them as well as the back of the calendar. If you are uncomfortable with having the logo on your calendar, you could place a decal over it or cross it out with a black marker. Than there would be no reference whatsoever to a sex toy site.

The front has a nice collage of the pictures from the twelve months, as well as Community Calendar 2012.
Every month has a thought provoking and beautiful quote that pertains to the photograph. The last two half pages inside the calendar has the following year's (2013), calendar, which I find very convenient for looking up pertinent dates for the following year. The back page is a statement page, explaining the meaning, whom the pictures are from and a nice explanatory plug about our amazing community.

Each month is very well marked with the month on the top right in pink and the year beside it in black. The weeks are nicely laid out and are in black as well. The weekday grid is in light gray, as are the numerical dates from the previous and following month, starting with the first Sunday and ending with the last square in the grid, which is a Saturday. There are no blank spaces at the beginning and end like other calendars. I found that this actually helped me quite a bit in laying out my months and due dates. The actual numerical date of the month is in black. The daily squares are about 1" by 1 1/2", which is plenty of space for writing in appointments, due dates and other information.

Every major holiday is labeled in black on the pertinent day. There are also other, less well known holidays and special days of the year marked as well. This makes a very fun and informative monthly calendar. For example: Want January 13th off of work? Well, it is National Blame Someone Else Day & it is on a Friday, sounds like a great holiday to stay home to me!! This also includes holidays from various religions and other countries as well. So, get informed and learn about the holidays from other cultures and areas!! But BEWARE: This year has two Easter Sunday's--poor bunny is going to get a workout!! (And so are the poor egg laying chickens!) Actually, this is the only typo I have noticed on the calendar.

The calendar has the usual small hole in the top for ease of hanging and switching out the month. It is also spiral bound in the middle with a tight plastic binding. The pages move freely and do not catch on the binding.

Thank you to the Eden Photographers and the members of our community for the time, effort and hard work you put out to bring us such a wonderful, insightful and practical calendar!!!
Follow-up commentary
I love my new calendar and have even had a compliment or two on this month's picture. Of course, now that I have it all filled out with birthdays and other important days, it is a staple on our wall. We check on it every few days, whenever anything important comes to mind.

And the interesting days of the month....holidays you never heard of before....oh, what fun can be had at their expense!!!
