269 Amazing Sex Games review

269 Amazing Sex Games would have been more appropriately entitled “269 Interesting Sexual Suggestions.” The book does contain a wealth of suggestions for various sexual activities, but few of them could actually be considered “games.” And while there are definitely some fun ideas in here, my overall impression of the activities was less than “amazing.”

This little book is very nicely produced—heavyweight for its size, with glossy pages and tasteful black and white erotic photographs. It is divided into 10 categories of sexual activities, including “Eat, Drink, and Be Merry,” “Playing the Field,” “The Art of Seduction,” and “Quiet Time.” Each section is divided into more specific subsections, so the book is very well organized, and you should be able to find the type of activity you are looking for in no time. The end of each section features a “Finish the Fantasy” scenario, where the premise of a sexual fantasy is laid out, to be completed using your own imagination. These scenarios are quite open-ended, so allow for exploration at your own comfort level, whether you are new to erotic role-play or are a seasoned veteran.

The suggestions in the book range from ho-hum to truly innovative and amusing. The book, of course, covers the basics, like erotic photography, massage, and food-play. And it does actually contain suggestions for some actual sex GAMES (like tapping out a song on your lover’s naked body and having them guess what it is, or—one of my favorites—tying inflated condoms to each of your ankles, then trying to burst each other’s condoms). Most importantly, the book contains a wide enough variety of activities that any couple should be able to find enough useful ideas in here to more than warrant the price of purchase.

Thus, while I would not rate it truly “amazing,” 269 Amazing Sex Games is a book chock full of some really fun and mostly innovative suggestions for sexual play.
