About author

This book was written together by psychotherapists and sex therapists Anne Hooper, and Phillip Hodson. They are coauthors of over a dozen best selling sex guides, some of which include How to Make Great Love to a Woman, Great Sex Games, and Anne Hooper's Kama Sutra. They are also a couple that has been together over twenty-five years. I haven't read any of their other works, but I may have to check them out.

Content / Style / Audience

This book is great for any guy, whether they're a beginner or someone more advanced. It's primarily targeted toward straight men, though there's some parts of the book that any guy can get use out of. As the name suggests, this book has 269 tips and tricks, usually one or a few sentences long, throughout 6 different sections.

The first section is titled A Real Man. This section features tips that are solely for a guy. Some of these tips include good self-esteem, foods to make semen taste better, foods and herbs to enhance performance, and grooming tips.

The second section is titled Tricks to Tempt and Tantalize Her. This section features tips to get her excited, and bring her to orgasm. Some of these tips include days of the month that women tend to feel sexier in, oral sex techniques, tips for using your fingers and hands, and some mistakes that men tend to make.

The third section is titled Tricks to Tempt and Tantalize You. This section is similar to the last one, but directed toward him instead. Some of these tips include ways to prolong ejaculation, oral sex techniques, prolonging your orgasm, and tips for anal sex (on her).

The fourth section is titled Vibes, Lubes, and Sex Toys. This section features ideas for different kinds of toys and lubes you can use. Some of these ideas include different kinds of vibrators, using butt plugs, and different kinds of lubes.

The fifth section is title Sextremes. This short section features tips on more extreme things you can use. Some of these include, using restraints, using electricity, and safety tips.

The last section is called Sexopoly. This section features tips on more ways to pleasure, and sex games. Some of these tips include different ways to stimulate her breasts, tongue exercises, light bondage play, and a few different games/fantasies to play out.

Design

The book is paperback, and the paper is the kind of glossy paper like most text books are made with. The binding is a single cover, with the pages glued to the inside of the spine. Overall, the book feels like it's a pretty good quality, and feels pretty sturdy. The copy of the book that I have is the revised edition. The title is slightly changed. Instead of For Men, it's For Him. As far as I can tell, the design of the book is the only other thing that is different. The color scheme is purple and white, with black text. Every page or two has a page that has a full page picture on both sides. These pictures show different couples in various erotic poses.

Personal comments

This book is a great addition to any guy's collection. The best thing about the book is the size, both of the book itself, and the briefness of most of the tips. This makes it easy to flip through and refresh your memory. If you're looking for something a lot more descriptive though, this book may not be for you. I think the only thing bad about the book, is that some of the tips seem like they could be in other categories. For example, the breast stimulation tips seem like they should be in the tips for her section, and the fifth and last sections seem like they should just be combined into one. Overall, this is a great book. There may be some things you already knew, but there may be other things in there you hadn't thought of.
