The Mistress Manual: A Good Girl’s Guide to Female Dominance” is truly an affirming guide for any woman who wants to learn more about how to place herself in the Domme role, whether they're a beginner or experienced Mistress. The book has three main parts: Becoming a Mistress, The Mistress In Action, and "The Five Archetypical Fantasies." Mistress Lorelei's instructions are not only intelligent but easy to follow. You don't have to read this guide page for page and can skip to any section you like with ease. Though I suggest you read chapter one, and then start skipping around if you feel the need.

In part one, Becoming a Mistress, you will see a new light to the idea of female dominance and learn about the pleasure that can come from taking command. The best part of this chapter is not only does Mistress Lorelei go into detail about becoming a Mistress but also discusses the psychological aspect of dominance.

Part two, The Mistress in Action, explains how to establish and assert your dominance. The use of spanking, flogging, paddling, dress-up and other techniques are covered in this chapter. You will learn some basics that you can expand on with addition reading from other sources.

Part three goes into the Five Archetypal Fantasies, which are The Nursemaid, The Governess, The Queen, The Amazon, and the Goddess. Each archetype is outlined in a step by step format from the elements of the fantasy, what to wear, what you should think about, and the skills that may be needed in order to act out that fantasy. You can take something from each fantasy and apply them to any scene that you choose to do.

If you're new to the sensual art of dominance you will gather a great deal of self-awareness and understanding by reading this wonderful guide. The only thing that is truly boring about it is the cover.
