Playgirl: Burning Passion - dvd by Playgirl TV - review by Library Girl

The title "Burning Passion" gives you an idea that this is meant to be a sensual video, not something too hardcore. There are six chapters on the video, each with a setup of sorts, some which make more sense than others. But it's not too heavy on plots, just setting the scene and getting down to it. All of the sex scenes feature oral on both the man and the woman and then sex in a variety of positions. Playgirl videos seem to focus on the woman receiving a lot of oral attention and the camera is right up in there. The sex is quite intimate with a lot of kissing and caressing. I like that the women seem to be enjoying themselves with a lot of panting and moaning that isn't drowned out by the music. Just listening to it can be erotic. It's a good choice for women or couples who are interested in something stimulating to watch that isn't too hardcore.

I haven't seen any of the featured actors before, but I generally liked their performances. There are some really beautiful women with naturally curvy bodies and breasts. One woman had huge implants that were silly, but most of the women were nice and natural, and I found them beautiful and attractive even though I am a heterosexual woman. The men had a variety of physiques, but they were all white or slightly ethnic in appearance. The only black man was featured in a scene that was cut. The man in the first segment was particularly well endowed to the point of almost seeming too big for the petite woman he was with. He's quite impressive! He also does an extended scene of tongue fucking her vagina that is so enthusiastic that I can't believe he doesn't have severe TMJ. Of course this being a Playgirl video they all appear above average and are very buff.

The DVD has six scenes which can be accessed through the chapter menu if you wish. There are some extras included. They include a bonus scenes hilariously entitled "Law and Orgasm" which features the only interracial couple on the DVD. There is also a "solo" scene with a male actor which I didn't find terribly memorable. He was beautiful, but took almost four minutes to disrobe during which he rubbed and massaged himself all over while posing his muscles, then sat on a chair and fisted himself for another five minutes until he came on his stomach. This might be just what some people are looking for, but not me. The funniest segment is the "Behind the Scenes" featurette that has some interviews with cast members. One actress cracked me up when she said she liked the industry because "I get to fuck hot guys and girls and be a total whore." I guess she found the perfect career fit for herself. I tagged the cover as not being discreet because there are photos of sex acts all over the back, but then I noticed that if you remove the DVD sleeve from the case it is printed on both sides. If you flip if the photos on the back are of the actors with clothes on. An interesting feature, but you wouldn't know unless you took it out like I did.

There was one setting that just was so ridiculous! The man comes into the room in a biohazard suit and has to decontaminate in the shower. Of course the shower is either in a mansion bathroom or maybe an expensive club because it's huge. Then randomly here is all this modern leather furniture in the bathroom too. There was a red leather chair that I would love to have though, because it's strange curve around arm was just perfect for the woman to lean back on with her legs raised and get thoroughly fucked. The chair was such a great idea why ruin it with the silly biohazard suit?

I found that I really didn't need more than the first segment of the DVD. It was a great scene with lots of action that appealed to me and on a good day I could come with my vibrator before the end of the scene. Invariably I don't watch the whole thing except to fast forward through it once to write the review. But the chapters feature lets you skip to your favorite so if you find you like something in the middle you can jump right to it.
