Love Card - gift card by Eden - review by TJtheMadHatter

Uses: The gift cards are a great way to break the sexual ice with a partner who isn't interested in sex toys, or is intimidated by them. The card is non-threatening and isn't lewd in anyway. It is geared towards couples, as it does use the word "love", so keep that in mind. You can give it to a friend, to open them up to loving their body. I personally bought it to set aside money for a large order. So, rather than spend a large amount of money at once, I put aside small amounts of money with gift cards. This helped me obtain one of my favorite and most expensive toys I own. You can keep the card for yourself or gift it to a friend or partner. You can hand it off or mail it, as it does come with a card and envelope.

Materials & Design: The envelope is made from a thin white paper, with glue on the back flap. It's the kind of glue that requires moisture to adhere. Be it your tongue or a moist sponge. In the corner, where you would put your return address, there is the green Eden Fantasys leaf.

The card is made from a glossy card stock. The front has three abstract clouds that are bright yellow, sky blue, and a cobalt blue. The clouds look like something out of the "Yellow Submarine". In the dead center of the front of the card, are the lower case, type writer letters saying "all you need is love". Each letter letter is a different color. The inside of the card is plain, with three tabs that hold the gift card in place.

The card itself is made for a hearty card stock. It's in between glossy and a matte finish to the paper. The front of the card has another abstract picture, but this time its a tree and some shrubs. Basically a landscape, but with bright vibrant colors. Again, it looks like something out of "Yellow Submarine". The same picture is on the back. In the front, top left corner, is the card's worth. It's written in a nice plum color. On the middle of the card and to the right, it says "Love Card". Again the letters are each a different color. Below that are twelve numbers, these are the numbers that you type in during check out. On the back has the words "To redeem this card go to www.edenfantasys.com or call (800)350-9050 M-F 8am - 4p, EST". Below that is a barcode. I honestly don't know what the point of that is, other than Eden Fantasys using it to activate the card. Under that it says, "For Terms and Conditions please refer to www.edenfantasys.com/giftcards". In the top right corner of the back, is the Eden Fantasys Logo. The edges of the gift card are nicely rounded.

I bought the gift card as a way for me to put aside money for a larger purchase. Rather than spending a huge chunk of money for a toy, I put aside money so I didn't break the bank. Now that I've seen the card, I would give it only to a few close friends. People that I talk to about sex toys. I've told them about this website, so they wouldn't read too much into the word "love". I appreciate that the gift card comes in a discreet envelope and the card is made from quality card stock. What I don't get is why they chose abstract clouds by themselves as the front of the card. I love the look of the gift card itself though. It's discreet and not intimidating at all. It's extremely neutral, but vibrant. I would give this card to someone close to me. I don't know if I would use it for a Secret Santa, though. Still it's a nice gift card and card. I like that Eden Fantasys has the option, rather than just a code.
