The Anal Sex Position Guide by Tristan Taormino, is a must read for anyone that wants to peruse or enhance anal sex. The book is formatted wonderfully with almost every page including a visually stimulating very tasteful picture of a couple in the act.

This book is comprised with 15 chapters, including a plethora of resources and a short “about the author” at the end of the book. Not only is this book easy to read it is very informative and will give you a wonderful walk through from the beginning to the end of anal sex.

Tristan covers about everything you need to know in this book. She starts out the book with explaining the anatomy of both genders. As we move along in the book, there is a whole chapter on communication. Starting with how to bring up the idea of anal sex with you partner, there are some very good tips for those couples or a partner that is wanting to experiment with anal sex and are not quite sure how to introduce the idea. She also stresses the importance of communication between partners during and after anal sex.

As you move on the book continues with the importance of hygiene, lube and safe sex. She goes over all the basic information of lubes as well as suggestions for common lubricants for you to purchase (Eden Fantasys sells most of them). After your all cleaned and lubed up she moves you into tips for the initial penetration. Ways to relax and make the experience the pleasureful experience it is meant to be.

After you are past the first few chapters she moves into chapters all about positions for optimal anal pleasure. There are three whole chapters dedicated just to positions, ranging from your basic beginner positions up to your experienced positions. Each position discussed also includes variations of the position and pros and cons about each.

There is also a chapter dedicated solely to anal toys, in which she discusses what toys are safe for anal play; and the materials that most anal toys are made out of, including safety feature of materials. For those of you wanting to experience gender play there is a chapter about strap on sex for him; with tips on dildos, harness and positions for him.

Through out the book are short stories, called “Words to Inspire you” which are exactly that short stories written to inspire you and your partner on your anal adventures.

Through out this book are wonderful, tips and do’s and don’ts that any beginner or the more experienced can appreciate and learn from. While this book is based more around a female and male relationship, all the tips and info can be used for any sexually orientated couple. I highly recommend making a spot on your book shelf or bedside for this informative and anally arousing book.
