Best Bondage Erotica is an anthology of stories put together by the author Rachel Kramer Bussel. These stories vary in focus, characters, and sex acts but have one common thread- bondage. All together, there are 209 pages in this glossy paperback book, including the 'About the Editor' and 'About the Authors' sections. The front cover of the book features a woman dressed in black vinyl gauntlets, bra and panties. She has bright red hair and has a man bent over in front of her with her hand on the back of his head. It is not a discreet cover in any way but it is definitely a sexy photo. I wouldn't take this book out in public or at work but I do appreciate the art of it. There is a foreword written by Midori that prepares you for fully experiencing the stories on many levels that is two and a half pages long followed by an introduction by Rachel Kramer Bussel. There are a total of 21 different stories in the book, some from the male perspective and some from the female. They also vary in bondage perspective (submissive vs. dominant). Here are a few of my favorites!

Melting Ice by Shoshanna Evers- This is the first story in the book and a great way to start the anthology off. Amanda loves bondage but is a single woman with no one to fulfill her needs. She devises a plan to meet her craving for being bound and getting off all by herself. The plan is centered around a simple thing we all have in our homes, ice. Amanda has a set of cuffs, a remote control vibrator and she quickly gets everything in order to get herself off, hands free. I don't wanna ruin all the details of how she gets it done and how it turns out, so you'll have to read the story!

Dry Rub by Giselle Renarde- Gina has had this night planned for weeks and her husband Terry wasted it away by spending time with his friends drinking at some bar. By the time he comes home, she is seething. He comes in, not noticing how she's dressed for him. She's shaved and made up and dress up...in her high school cheer leading uniform. As Gina starts to clean up an idea comes into her head and some spontaneous bondage becomes the thing. Soon, Gina has Terry tied to a chair and she takes the time to pleasure herself in a way that she hasn't in years, dry humping. Of course, she isn't dry by a long shot and the way the author writes about her pleasure brings back memories of how great dry humping was back when it was as far as you were willing to go. Gina definitely gets off but what about Terry? You'll have to read the story!

Laced by Elizabeth Silver- Kevin works at a bar and that bar has a new theme and work attire requirement. He needs the money so he decides he will go for broke and dress the part. The theme? Goth. His roommate Stefan has helped him get a few items together, the biggest one being a corset. He offers to help Kevin put it on and Kevin discovers how the tight embrace of a corset makes him feel. He begins by feeling hugged and comforted by the corset then soon feels his submissive side starting to peek out. He gets so turned on and he has never thought of Stefan that way. Stefan senses his reaction and slowly takes him further and further until Kevin comes ferociously. This is a great story that delves into the discovery of something new to the character. We've all had that first experience of something sexual and can relate to the awe and joy of discovery.

Pawns by Billey Thorunn- The bondage in this story is a different kind all together. There are no physical bonds to restrain Kate, only verbal commands and complete obedience. Kate and Gabriel have fun making bets and coming up with fun 'punishments' for each other. Kate lost the most recent bet and so today she is playing servant for Gabriel and his friend Chris during their chess game. She is dressed in sheer black with an checked apron over it, and nothing else. The chess game, of course, is out on the balcony of their apartment. Throughout the game, the players each make their moves on the board and on Kate. By the end everyone is enjoying this punishment.

This book really does have a great assortment of different types of bondage. There are stories that have spanking, physical restraints (such as cuffs and rope), psychological/verbal restraints, sword play, and other types of bondage/submission (like in Rahcel Kramer Bussel's story where the male uses his size and weight to help his partner find release and submission). There are plenty of orgasms and plenty to turn any reader on.
