Book is Bleh

While the pictures are enough to turn anyone away from this book, those who endure through that and through lots of pages about flirting and maintaining eye contact will find some actually helpful sexual information and tips.

To be honest, some of this book was informational. But dear god, is it BORING. For every actually useful piece of information, there are about 10 pages of useless fluff, weird soft-porn pictures, and ‘homework’ assignments.

This is a book that is clearly intended for people who are involved in a heterosexual, monogamous relationship. Which, I think for the current year and the kind of people who would probably buy this book, is a bit close-minded of them. I mean really, not a single mention to homosexuality? There’s also no mention of condoms or safer sex, so either they think STDs don’t really happen or they’re assuming monogamy.

As someone who isn’t monogamous and isn’t always in heterosexual relationship, I find this to be a little offensive.

That said, I did find their information regarding oral sex performed on women to be much more actually informative than most sex manuals.

Most sex manuals simply say something along the lines of relax, go slow, see how she reacts to what you do to figure out what she likes.

Well, not that that isn’t helpful (which it actually isn’t...at all), but if I’m someone who is struggling with oral sex I’m going to need a bit more direction than ‘figure it out.’

This book provides various suggestions (different methods of stimulating the clitoris with the tongue) and tricks (such as avoiding the clitoris at points and instead thrusting the tongue into the vagina for a bit of teasing and delayed satisfaction).

The pictures are absolutely laughable and often distracting. The actors' fake orgasm faces are just plain off-putting.

All in all, this isn’t a terrible book if you can overlook the bad photos and useless info.

The book is about 271 pages, which is unusually long compared to other sex manuals on the site. I would say that about 70 of those pages are actually useful, which in my opinion justifies purchasing this book.
Follow-up commentary
This has become one of those books that sits on your bookshelf without ever being read, just gathering dust. Too bad I won't be able to throw this one into the 10 cent bin at my next garage sale.
