As a submissive, I really enjoyed this book and highly suggest it to anyone that finds kink appealing. It includes many different BDSM situations from both a male and female submissive perspective and not all relationships in this book are heterosexual. Reading this book is not unlike reading the blog of some girl you knew in high school who turns out to have a creepy fetish that disturbs you in a way that when you see her in line at the grocery store you feel embarrassed FOR her. Anne fucked this one up, and the next one, and then churned out a third book. Claiming is the only somewhat decent book of the series, and it's still pretty bad.

To be honest, I don't even know what to say about this one. I am a huge Anne Rice fan, but this isn't my cup of tea. It is probably because I'm not all that interested or turned on by BDSM. Rice usually will mix an ample amount of erotica in her chronicles, but this was excessive for my tastes. At the turn of every page was the account of some sadomasochism, physical as well as mental degradation, bondage and punishment. I'd pass on the Sleeping Beauty unless you're into that sort of stuff.

Amazing Book! Simply amazing. If you like bdsm erotica fiction this is most assuredly the book for you. It's written in amazing detail, and I like that it's set in the past. It would be great for a historical fiction fan who wants an erotic twist. Rice is amazing at what she does, and this is some of her best work. The twisting of the classic story into bdsm erotica is simply genius and she writes it to where you feel like you know the inner workings of the characters.

For those who love reading about Victorian lovers, “Carnal Machines” provides fourteen stories set in the suppressed sensuality of that “steamy” era. The stories cover a variety of sexual scenarios from hetero to homo to BDSM, though there is a little too much emphasis on steam powered sex machines and not enough elements of actual steampunk. Not all of the stories are equally good, but overall, it is a very satisfying read.

Erotica can be quite hit or miss anthologies in particular, at least that has been my experience. Carnal Machines however has it all, from sex, good and detailed, to stories, yes actual stories and good ones at that. Not loose and simple as possible, just as an excuse for the characters to have sex. I would recommend this one to anyone who wants to read erotica it's really quite excellent.

It might sound like a stretch, but I almost feel that this book was written just for me. There's bondage, hysteria treatments, arcane sex toys, robotic pleasure contraptions, female dominance, and much more. I loved the character development, and some stories I wish didn't end! If you enjoy sci-fi fantasy and like a little historical fiction thrown into the mix, you will love this book. Strong leading female characters fill the pages of this book and they meet their matches with some of the contraptions that they come across. What I've found since is that many of the literotica books take stories from a variety of authors and then compile them. Sometimes, the authors are not diverse enough, and sometimes, the stories are not diverse enough. This isn't what you'll find in Five Minute Erotica. Overall, I would say that this book is not worth it. the different authors are nice and mix things up, but they focus too much on building the world, not on the actual sexual action that each chapter should be full of. The odd wording, drawn out chapters, and always having to re-imagine a different world with each chapter is pretty hard to follow. In my opinion, find a book that has a coherent storyline, not one like this that is just so random.

Frenzy is a good, easy read that requires very little time to enjoy a few stories in a pinch. It would entertain just about anyone interested in erotica from the shy beginner to the more experienced looking for a light, quick, thrill. The stories are well written and chosen. The Irresistible Erotic Romance for Couples is a good book designed with a woman and her fantasies in mind. It is definitely for a woman in the respect that it is written for a women and not a couple like the title would suggest. This was one of the more interesting book i have read because the stories have different characters acting out different sexual fantasies in different situations. I wish there was more variety and more exotic exploration it it though. A good book though.

Whether you're a lesbian, a kink lover, or simply kink curious, this would be an interesting read for you. Since this story has not continuing story line, if you are not into a story, you can simply skip over it and read the next one. In my opinion, "Say Please" is hot, kinky, and downright interesting.

The book is a good one to add to the home library of erotica if you are looking for something that is not a full on novel. There are multiple short stories and they are perfect to get a person in the mood when you just want something easy to read and fun.
Multiple styles of erotic stories and a decent content for both women and men.

Women in Lust is an erotic anthology that focuses on the lust, just like the title says. There are good stories in it, however just be aware that they are mainly heterosexual encounters. Overall this was a good anthology.

Always wanted to travel to exotic (or not so exotic) locations? Foreign Affairs might be your ticket to new places and cultures. While the stories focus more on the locations and culture and less on the eroticism and sex, they’re all well written journeys. Some of them may excite you more than others, and most are best if you're more interested in the settings.
Interesting locations, longer stories, detailed descriptions of foreign locations and encounters.
Stories are more travelogue than erotic, more informative than arousing.

It's like that great vacation you always dreamed of... but the flight encounters turbulence, the airline screws up your vegetarian meal and loses your luggage, the hotel can't find your reservation, and you realize too late you should not have drank the water. It was a sound idea for a collection, but the execution gets a thumbs down from me.

Foreign Affairs is a book of short stories featuring sexy affairs all over the globe. While all the stories are written well, some are a bit harder to get into than others. The almost whimsical descriptions most of the authors use makes it a little more difficult (at least for me) to get caught up in the moment and lose yourself in the story.

“Foreign Affairs” contains 21 very well-written tales of erotic encounters in (mostly) exotic settings. (A few of the stories take place in the US.) Although most of the stories are fairly vanilla and heterosexual, there are a few mild kinks and some homosexuality. If you are looking for some heavy BDSM or lots of gay/lesbian stories, you will probably be disappointed, but if all you want is a good selection of beautifully written erotic stories, you will probably enjoy this anthology.

Going down: oral sex stories
If oral sex is an art form of sorts, then somewhere within "Going Down" you will discover how to paint the Mona Lisa. Not every story will float your boat, but I guarantee most will send you sailing away.
Genre-specific erotica can sometimes get very samey. "Going Down" is the exception.
Some readers may baulk at the gay (boy-on-boy as well as girl-on-girl) content.

Penthouse: Naughty By Nature
Once upon a time, only individuals with talent could publish their writing. They underwent scrutiny from publishing companies and could never become a published writer by posting randomly among sites or self-publishing on Amazon. Writing required creativity and discipline. Best of all, fiction and non-fiction categories existed. This book only beats the last rules of good writing and composition to death.
