This toy was definitely designed
The Very Best of Erotic Moods CD is described “to create a sound that is the perfect accent to any romantic or erotic encounter”. It was released in 2002, and the CD cover stated that it falls under the World/Mood genres. For the most part it is an instrumental CD with a few of the songs having some voices that softly play in parts of the song. We got this CD with the intent of using it to relax after a long day of dealing with kids, life, etc. A candle-lit room, some
warm massage oil and the music from the CD would help set the mood for bigger and better things.
The music was pleasant enough but the rhythm from the start was a little fast for what we were looking for. The music started at a rhythm that was more conducive to being in the “moment” rather gradually building up over time. If the rhythm were to build every few minutes it would have been a more erotic experience. Allowing your passion to rise as the rhythm of the music increased would have really allowed the erotic aspect of the music to unfold. I'm sure that would be a challenge for the producers since everyone's passion levels do not rise at the same time, but with a little imagination the music could take you and your lover to some erotic encounter that was made just for the two of you. In fact, that is what the music reminded us of, one of those late night soft porn movies on a cable movie channel. The scenery, lighting, and bodies are perfect and they are at the height of passion with the camera changing angles every few seconds. All of the songs are at that height of passion moment.
In all fairness however, the music really is not that bad. After listening to it again minus the candles etc., the music is actually pleasant to listen to on its own accord. To just play something that has some interesting sounds is actually refreshing, I guess that is why it is also labeled with the World/Mood title on the CD case. I can say that the music has found its way onto the old iPod just to mix things up a little.
You should have just played a porno instead to listen to.
Pretty much just music, like I said it reminded me of "soundtrack" music on late nate T.V.
So was there anything "bedroom" or particularly sexy about this music? Or was it simply just soft music? I reviewed a cd that actually had (softly) the sounds of sex as part of the musical background.
Ahh, anything resembling porn music would have me running for the hills.
Ugh! I hate late night soft porn movie music! Thanks for the heads up!
CW, I see you picked up on the last line of the review!
Sounds like it was a little too monotonous, maybe. That's too bad- but at least the music had some value, even if not in the bedroom!
