I have personally never read anything by this author. Before reading this book, I did a little research and had found out that(author) E.L. James was inspired to write this book after Twilight written by Stephanie Meyer.

After hearing all about this book I had to check it out for myself. In this book you learn of a college student Anastasia Steele(Anna)who lives with her best friend Katherine who is also a college student. Katherine writes for the college paper and on the day of a big interview that she has worked so hard to get Kathrine becomes sick and asks Anna to do the interview for her. Sounds like the typical college story, right? Well not so much! Anna agrees to do the interview. The interview happens to be with a controlling, handsome, young, wealthy man by the name of Christian Grey. This is where the story starts to become erotic! I don't want to give out too much of the story line, but I will say that you will be introduced to things like: whips, floggers, spread bars, blindfolds and much more! While this book explores fantasies of BDSM, it also keeps the story romantic. I feel this book would be great for men and women both and if read together with your partner you may be surprise. This book will have your curiosity going and possibly exploring different things in the bedroom. Leading to a whole new world of sex.
