Fifty shades of ho-humFor me this was a quick read book, nothing too spectacular but not bad. I think there has been too much hype over this book and therefore, was a letdown to me.
Easy to hold size
I have never read anything else by this author. I don't even know if he has written anything else. I could Google him and put all kinds of information in about him, but you can do this on your own. I am not sure I like the writing style. In parts of the book he uses non-everyday vocabulary. In other parts, it seems very simple vocabulary. A more rounded use of words would have made this better, in my opinion.
This book goes into BDSM, but not at the lengths I thought it would. It seems to be more of a preview into it with a few random descriptions here and there. I think anyone who enjoys reading erotica would be okay reading this book. Not a lot of detail but enough to engage the reader.
This is your standard paperback book. Nothing special about the cover, pages, or binding.
Overall, for me, this book did not live up to the hype I had heard about it. Not a bad book, just not what I was expecting or hoping it would be. I did enjoy the read though, great on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
