Cleis Press & Alison Tyler bring you a steamy book adorned with tales and imaginings of frenzied sex of the lust filled, wanton brief encounter, bound in a glossy cover 60 stories ranging from a mere 75 words to a 1500 word maximum gathered in 209 pages.

Alison the editor of Frenzy is an author of more than 25 erotic novels and an editor of more than 45 explicit anthologies (dubbed by the East Bay Express as a' trollop with a laptop') has made being naughty her trademark and this book definitely has naughty inside its pages.

I am an avid fan and a dabbler in written flash fiction and this is what Frenzy offers you. The stories range from one to five pages that draw you in from the first sentence and place you in various situations where the main theme is the fast and furious encounters of sexual lust. Some of the stories are cliché and bland and did little for my libido, but these paled in comparison to the stories that did tantalize and tease my mind. Some got me rather hot under the collar and were well worth the read.

The stories are mainly based around heterosexual encounters yet they are varied and present scenes from all walks of life and there are a couple of stories that cater to lesbian and homosexual POV's. There are stories based on phone sex, cross dressing, female/male domination, fucking in cars, exhibitionism, a foursome, fetishes, spanking, teasing and even apricot panties.

One line that was the starter of a very brief piece of fiction had me laughing at the wit "Hello Kitty didn't have shit on me..."

A few stories were instant favorites appealing to my kinks and fantasies, "Mute Witness" made the writer in me smile with pleasure with only a mere 10 lines of fiction.

"That Girl" was a reminder of how hot verbal seduction can be. Head Trip was most definitely a favorite along with "His Hands", "Take Note Please" and "Pirate Treasure".

It's a standard sized book with a cover that does insinuate what is hidden in its pages so if traveling you may want to hide this book amongst another unless of course you want an observer to see what you are reading, who knows it may just be the key to having your own 'frenzied encounter of a sexual kind.'

As much as the crap stories that graced these pages bored the hell out of me, the well written stories had me brimming with pleasure as the words coiled around that smutty mind of mine that revels in filthy words of lust. This book now has its own place in my bedside bookshelf; as it's a book i can pick up randomly, flick to any old page and start reading and there are a few stories mentioned that i would happily read again and again.
