His Pickle Will Be....Not So Surprised

Sadie Allison's "Tickle His Pickle" is an entertaining textbook style manual to your guys penis. It is very informative and would be good for beginners who are looking to gain a little bit of knowledge about how to please their guy in safe, fun ways. However, if you have experience with oral sex or jerking a guy off, this book will have little use to you.

About author

Sadie Allison is one of the country's leading sexperts and has written several books how to get the most out of your sex life. This is the first book of hers that I have read and although it was incredibly entertaining with some humor brought into the mix, I feel that this is just a beginner's manual. She does bring in the often-overlooked fact that sex is just as much about communication and confidence as it is about doing the deed. But I do feel that there were a few things missing from this book.

Content / Style / Audience

This book is separated out into chapters based on the things you can do (besides sex itself) to make your man's "pickle" happy. It describes in detail the anatomy of the male genitalia and the many fun things you could do with it with your hands and mouth. It also described different ways you can take advantage of his perineum (AKA the taint) and his prostate which, for the people that are more open-minded than me, is a plus. Unfortunately, going ass-to-mouth is way past the line of things I will never do.

This book is mostly geared towards people who have little to no experience with manual stimulation or oral sex. In that case, this book can be incredibly useful. Most of this stuff, however, has probably been found in Cosmopolitan magazine. So anyone who is constantly looking for new tips from places such as Cosmo probably won't find anything too new in this book.

The only thing I really found new was the information and tips Sadie had about working the perineum into your foreplay. That small area not only feels good for the guy when massaged but it also feels good for girls too. I do think that although this book is for beginners for the most part everyone can take away at least something from this book.

I read this book way back when and I agree, it is pretty basic. At the time it was useful, though. Thank you for the review.
