How to fulfill SOMEONE'S sexual fantasy

This book sat on my bookshelf for several months without being read cover-to-cover. I found it lacking in substance, disrespectful of bisexual men, encouraging of deceit to the end of getting what you want in bed, and rather dry overall. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Published:
Pros
The chapter The Bisexual Woman does contain some valid, useful information.
Cons
The topics are far too brief. Much is excluded or skimmed over that shouldn't be.

extremely useful review
Threesome is a book, obviously, about how to enact your fantasy of getting that third person to join you and your partner in bed. It includes topics such as why you've failed in this endeavor in the past, bisexual and "bi-curious" women, how to get them to find each other, and why they are in high demand, how to convince female friends to join you in bed, how to meet the third person, and the different methods of communicating (email, personal ads, pagers, coded ads), setting the stage for a rendezvous, and setting the mood. This book is largely written for a female audience, understanding a women as a third person in bed, and learning what they want from a threesome.

The author coins the acronyms Queen MAT(one woman, two men) and King MAT (one man, two women), and includes a chapter in the book elaborating on each style, the good and the bad, and helpful hints.

This book fell short in many ways. There are barely two sentences that address bisexual males and their desires for threesome. The majority of the book is focused on approaching women, which is highly offensive, especially since there is nothing written on the back cover that explains that it caters mostly to the heterosexual MALE population. The double standard about bisexuality - it's great for women to be but not so acceptable for men, is infuriating and this book reinforces it.

The author's writing style didn't draw me in. This book took me much longer to complete than I expected. I was excited to get it in the mail but it didn't hold my interest like I assumed it would. I found myself glazing over repeatedly. Granted, I've had my share of threesomes, so I'm not a newbie to the idea, which may have come into play, but I'm sure I can learn more about how to successfully have a threesome and this book didn't teach me anything.

I was put off by the way the author coached men to say the right thing to their partners in order to get them softer to the idea of threesomes. One example is to show your partner some girl on girl erotica and when she asks what you like best, tell her it's how tenderly the women touch each other and that they seem more caring than men. So, in other words lie to your partner.

There were ridiculously brief chapters on important topics such as jealousy, sexual positions, strap-ons, and if it was in the book it was so fleeting I missed it - the all important information on STDs and how to protect yourself.
Experience
I can't say that this book helped me in any way towards the goal of threesomes. As someone who is part of the BDSM and polyamory community, I find those around me to be honest, open, communicative, and adventurous. The methods of deceit or "convincing" a partner to have a threesome are unnecessary.
Follow-up commentary
Nothing dramatically changed my mind over time since reading this book. In fact, I've pretty much done the opposite of what this book purports as the way to get yourself into a threesome. I'm honest with my partners. We communicate clearly, and a lot.

I still find it a ridiculous double standard to not offer any information to bisexual men as far as how to fulfill a threesome fantasy. This book is on its way out of my house.

By reading your review on the book, you can tell how you felt about it. The way it sounds to me, I would be greatly disturbed by it. I am a bisexual woman myself with plenty of experience in 2 female 1 male threesomes. Unfortunately none with 2 guys yet. Still trying to talk my straight husband into that lol. Still yet, I'm not trying to lie to him or force him into anything, and I never have. Great review, and I'm glad I didn't spend money on this book.

Wow, you're generous! I would've given it 1 star for being so deceitful and non-helpful!

Good review! I've been wondering about this book...not any more! I don't know which is worse, cajoling your partner into participating in a threesome by lying to them, or looking down on bisexual men.

I'm glad I was able to save someone (or a few) from wasting the time to read it.

It's sad this book was lacking, any suggestions for something similar? I've had a threesome and would do it again, but would like some more background information this time around.
