I purchased "How to Have a XXX Sex Life|How To Have a XXX Sex Life" because I thought it would teach me tricks from the professionals in porn. While there are some tips that you could use in the bedroom with your partner, I don't believe this should be called a "how to" style of book.

Of course I figured that I had a feeling that this book would be geared toward heterosexual sex, I would have enjoyed a little emphasis on lesbian sexual encounters. Lesbian encounters seemed to be more for the enjoyment of the male in the situation, in the form of threesomes.

To be honest I believe this book plays upon the insecurity of most women to feel like they should be comparable to porn stars. It seems to be more of a device to sell Vivid company dvds than to teach women tricks to please their partner. I got very tired of reading the contrived porn situations that didn't seem to make me get into a sexual mindset.

Personally if you are looking for more ways to spice up your sex life with your partner there are many other books, that will offer more helpful advice that are written by sexual therapists and experts in the field.

On the other hand, if you are simply interested in the pornography industry and the women that participate in these films, this is a good book to offer a few viewpoints. There are interviews and personal experiences that illuminate their lives. It was interesting in that aspect. I have always been fascinated by the pornography industry in different venues, and this book was a fun read.

"How To Have a XXX Sex Life" is a fun read if you are interested in the industry and the women involved, but not if you are looking for tips and tricks for your own sex life.
