If you are at all interested in tantra I highly recommend you read this book. I have seen a couple of books about tantra and I can honestly say it was too much information especially if you are just getting started.
It's easy to read and many of the rituals don't require much effort. This book is not just about sex but becoming one with your partner. I know some of the reviewers complained about how it was only for heterosexual couples but it has to do with the two opposing energies like yin and yang, in the book it is called "union of opposites", if that's going to bother you don't buy the book. This book is an Americanized version of tantra and if that bothers you don't buy the book. If you think you can look past this and apply it to your relationship it will be worth it.

The most awesome part about this book is that it can apply to your daily life. It turns the most mundane things into a sexual experience. The book also teaches communication (expression desires) and to have respect for your body (eating a good diet) and your partner's body. I loved the fact that this book includes many exercises and rituals such as "Emotional release" where you sit in front of each other with stacked pillows in between each other and while playing loud music hit the pillows to get rid of negative thoughts and feelings.

The book also includes how to make a tantric space using objects, colors, fabrics and lighting. Not only is this information good for tantra but just for relaxation, meditation or massage in general. You are pretty much guaranteed to find some subject in this book that will interest you especially if you are already into the holistic scene.

Still a great guide and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in tantra! I can read it over and over and still find something new to apply to my life or my relationship.
