Cabaret Desire by Lust Films - review by Badass

Cabaret Desire, a film both written and directed by Erika Lust is not your typical porno. Without knowing who directed this and simply from watching, you would know this was made by a woman. This film's sex scenes are all told by story tellers inside the Cabaret. There is a lot of Cinemax worthy sex, where you don't see much of anything except their faces and that their bodies are colliding. Everyone gets oral sex, and everyone walks away happy. Now, a walk through of the scenes.

During the opening scene, a man in spandex dances more gracefully, than I could imagine a fellow pole dancing, while the girls get ready in the backroom of a small cafe style cabaret. You learn that everyone who comes into Cabaret Desire is introduced to a story teller, to be told an erotic tale for tokens.

The first of these stories is "The Two Alex's", and as the reader begins, the camera switches from the Cabaret Desire to a bar where a blonde bartender(Sophia Prada) is working. She attains the phone numbers to both a male (Tony Fontana) and female (Saskia Condal), both named Alex. She talks about how easy it is to do the same things with different people, as the camera flashes from images of her singing songs in a park to the female Alex, to her doing the same thing with the male Alex. The back and forth images of her with the female and male Alex, continues as she is chasing and being chased upstairs to an apartment. You watch her make love to each of them simultaneously. Using a strap on with the female and being sexed up by the male Alex. In the end, the Alex's find out about each other and leave her.

The second story, "My Mother", is read by a handsome fellow (Tennessee Pink) with an eye patch. He reads to a couple and tells his mother's (Lady Diamond) story. As it turns out, she was an artist by nature and also a thief of many expensive paintings. The story he tells of her is of "her finest work", you earn she does this frequently, but she screws the brains out of the paintings owner (Mario Mentrup), and generally, like in this case, the men don't report her to the police because of the amazing kinky sex they have. She ties him to a liberator wearing nothing but a black latex skin tight body suit, and has her way with him, but he doesn't seem to mind. This, in my opinion is the most kinky scene in the entire film.

The next scene is but an intermission where the Mistress sings to the club. This is not very sexy and has no nudity to me. While it slightly adds to the plot of the film, it is unnecessary and didn't do anything for me.

The third official story is called "In Wonderland" and is told by a female reader to a couch full of excited faces. She tells a tale of a group of friends who love sharing their sexual adventures to one another. For the main characters (Liandra Dahl) birthday, her friends give her a phone number on a piece of paper and tell her a day and time to call it. When she does she is picked up by a handsome fellow on a motorcycle, and dropped off in front of what looks to be an empty building. She goes inside to find a larger room with sheer cloth hanging in strips from the ceiling throughout. She feels like she is chasing an angel, but cannot find it. She discovers a bed and continues to look until she discovers a beautiful man (Matisse), who makes gentle but passionate love to her. This couple has an intensity that is unlike the others.

The fourth and last sexy story is a tale told from both the male and female sides. The man (Didac Duran) is riding his bike to a date and the female (Samia Duarte) is waiting impatiently for the mans arrival in a bar. You discover they had a fling a while back and both regret how they handled it, and let their romance fade. You see clips from the past as they are waiting and traveling to each other. They go back to someones place and get hot and heavy. Starting with the obvious oral of course, then moving on to making love to each other.

Then end of this movie is brief, and doesn't have a conclusion. Cava Cabaret sings a tune about sex and what happens and the emotions of it after.

This film, in my opinion, is much more of an anticlimactic movie than a porno, but you cannot sit down to watch this as a movie and be entertained. I enjoyed Erika Lust's vision on this and thought the film itself was interesting. Sadly, I have seen better plots in Cinemax porn than in this film. This film is simply a string of not so sexual sexual encounters strewn together. The sex is pretty hot and I thought each and every character had amazing chemistry together. Maybe I'm just sick, but I want to see him actually penetrating her and I want some kink. If you too might be sick in the head or like to see the actual penetration, you may want to look to a different porno.

I watched this with the rest of porn club, streaming online. I am pretty sad we didn't actually get copies because I would have liked to have seen it again. It was a good porno that kept itself interesting throughout. I still remember enjoying the many facets of different people's sexy stories.
