Position of the Day: Sex Every Day in Every Way review

I ordered Position of the Day: Sex Every Day in Every Way just to have some new ideas for us to try out. Well, this little book is definitely packed with new ideas- 365 of them. There is only one small problem though, you have to be double jointed and limber as a dishrag to do part of them. Now I know I have a few years on me but I do consider myself to be in fairly good shape and hubby is in the best shape he has been in for years, but there are still positions in that book that are next to impossible.

The book is compact, measuring only about 6 inches in length and 4 inches in width, it can easily be put in your pocketbook or a carry-on for travel. It also fits neatly in the corner of our toy drawer next to the bed. The cover is a sturdy, thick grade paper that looks like it will hold up for a long time.

Both my husband and I went through the book and picked out dates that we wanted to try. When we compared our lists, we had many of the same dates marked. We have tried out several of the positions and attempted to try out others. It was fun to try out some of the positions and to imagine how you really get into that position. We both have laughed trying to get into the positions, thus making it even more impossible to get to that position. It has proved to be helpful and we have found several positions that we both have enjoyed.

The figures in the book are just a step above “stick people” and are funny to look at. Some of the pictures and demonstrations require props like chairs, doorways, and cushions. The book addresses all gender combinations, including groups. There is no documentation regarding the positions which I think would be helpful. The only thing on each page is the date, the “people” and the name given to that particular position.

This book is a funny and amusing book. It gives many ideas and although some of them are next to impossible, it is fun to try them out! It is a good book to provide ideas and to look through as a couple. Although not really a practical use book, it is an entertaining book if nothing else.
