Love and Other Mishaps by Digital Playground - review by Laureenm1

The DVD is made for couples. It is all heterosexual sex. If you are looking for a DVD with other stuff, this is not the one for you. The content of the film is pretty much null and void. There was no real storyline or plot. My husband and I really did try to figure it out. The sound was really bad and we couldn't hear half the movie unless we turned it up; and I did not want to wake up any kiddos to that. The filming was okay. The camera angles were horrible. During the scenes, most of the shots were close-ups and did not pan out to show anything. The angles went to their faces and stayed there through some of the positions as well. It is hard to explain, but if you see this movie, you will understand what I mean.

Although the actors were good-looking, there was much to be desired in the acting category. Stoya was the main character in the movie, and she was mediocre, at best, in this film. Sasha Grey was, I think, the best of the ladies in this film. Nicole Ray was just okay. The men, on the other hand, were very good -- not so much the acting, but they were good-looking and in great shape, which, for me, is good in an adult movie. It was a really small cast. There could have been much better interaction and chemistry from everyone.

The DVD features are better then the feature itself. The "behind the scenes" were done better than the movie. It was interesting and funny. I think the trailers from the other movies were the only thing that really got my hubby and I aroused. The pictures were good as well. The special features were all that this movie had going for it.

The camera shots were very off in this movie, as was the sound. The sex scenes were super loud, and the talking you could barely hear. I did not realize a large bush was back in style, but it was a little too much for my and my man's taste. I did not want to say anything, but, come on . . . if you are a porn star, keep yourself groomed. The men were well man-scaped, at least. Don't waste your time on this movie.
