Never Have The Same Sex Twice Book Review

I really like this book. I dog-eared a lot of pages, a hell of a lot of pages. I got a lot of great tips from Alison and other authors, and I was also bored at times when I already had those tips ingrained in my brain. Overall it was a pretty good book, and it has got a bit of something for everyone.

About author

Alison Tyler, who is basically the narrator of this book, is a witty, interesting person who likes to spontaneously romp with her lover anywhere in the house except for their bedroom, which holds the mattress that she states in that they've only used twice.

There are a ton of excerpts from other stories and books, as well as entire chapters that consisted of erotic encounters. Authors including Isabel Nathe, N.T. Morley, Andrea Miller, Jeremy Edwards, Ronald Keller, Sommer Marsden, Thomas S. Roche, Dante Davidson, Mathilde Madden, Simon Torio, Jolene Hui, Kristina Lloyd, Alison Tyler herself, Molly Laster, and Donna George Storey contributed to the writing of this book, and I'm sure Alison attained their permission before publishing their works.

Content / Style / Audience

It's hard for me to describe the content as this is my first book review. The content style was very much from a personal approach, and I swear that Alison really enjoyed writing this book, almost as much as she enjoyed reading all of the literature that she put into it. She seems very excited about the book as she is writing it, and her tone is always instructive and helpful, as well as optimistic. After all, different things work for different couples/lovers/partners.

Alison names tip after tip, and after that tip she places an excerpt as an example to show something similar to or exactly as she means. After a chapter continues with this sort of layout, the next is a story, as well as the next, unless Alison puts another instructional-like chapter in. It's a very interesting sort of book layout, and it keeps the reader informed as well as entertained.
The topic of the book is of course an instructional one. Alison talks about lighting, lingerie, food, setting, traveling, bedsheets, candles, mirrors, romantic dinners, oral sex, and so many other things that help improve relationships and sexual encounters, ways to spice things up.

This book might be geared toward those who need tips specifically, for those who like erotic literature, or just those who want to read an interesting book. I think this book is geared towards all three, and then some. There aren't any pictures though. This is all writing. So you might be disappointed there.

Thanks for the review. This sounds intriguing, it reminds me of the set-up of "The Grapes of Wrath", where I would read every other chapter (skipped the informational chapters).
