I haven’t watched porn since I was a curious teenager and discovered my dad’s stash. That porn was wall-to-wall “I’m here to fix the copier” type porn, and although I found it fascinating, and somewhat arousing at the time, I knew that I’d need more substance if I was going to revisit porn. This is the reason that I was looking forward to reviewing Dream Quest.

I’d read a lot about Jenna Jameson, but I’d never seen her “in action.” I was also looking forward to watching a high-budget feature film with graphic sex. It seemed like the best of both worlds: a presumably engaging storyline and great, hot fucking. I found the first to be true, but unfortunately the sex was lacking.

Obviously this is my opinion, so this movie may be appealing to other people. It’s just that the sex was the same in every scene and there didn’t seem to be real chemistry between the participants. The scenes involving a man and woman/women always began with the man’s cock being sucked, leading to intercourse and ending with the man’s cock being sucked. I kept thinking “Wow, these women love to drink cum.” Aroused women are shown, but they’re never shown coming. It’s much more centered on the pleasuring of men. Even in the all-girl scenes, the women don’t come.

There were also a lot of distractions for me that kept the experience from ever being truly pleasurable. For instance, all of the women had long French manicured nails. When they would stick their fingers in each other’s pussies and assholes, I couldn’t help thinking: a) is that really comfortable for the recipient, because I know I don’t like feeling nails inside my ass, and b) how do they clean the pussy and ass juice from their nails; it seems really unhygienic.

I gave this movie 3 stars, because the plot was engaging, the acting wasn’t bad and the quality of the film making (special effects, costumes, etc.) was very impressive. I would recommend it to a friend, but I would also tell them the reasons it didn’t do it for me–maybe they aren’t issues for other people. Also, there is an amazing scene where Jenna is receiving two large glass dildos in her pussy (and later one in her pussy and one in her ass) that almost made the rest of the unimpressive sex not matter.
