Intimate Things - erotic video by Zero Tolerance - review by tim1724

This is a mainstream porn release, targeted primarily at heterosexual men (and possibly couples), so expect mostly M/F pairings, with one M/F/F threesome. It would appear to be targeted more specifically at those who enjoy watching women put on and take off their underwear, as each scene begins with an extended segment featuring the woman (or women, in one scene) trying on several pieces of lingerie before getting to the sex.

This is not Mike Quasar's best directorial work. It feels like someone told him to make a movie featuring lingerie and he didn't really know how to go about making it interesting.

All of the scenes feature the same basic structure. A woman (often nude to start) tries on somme of lingerie (mostly bras and panties), takes it off, tries another item, and so on, usually while the man watches. After five minutes of trying on different pieces of clothing, with no dialog and no real sense of why it's happening, the two suddenly start having sex. The sex is pretty formulaic, with some oral sex (usually a long blowjob, with a tiny bit of cunnilingus if the woman is lucky) followed by vaginal sex in two or three positions. Sure, one scene has two women, so it's structured slightly differently, but doesn't add any real variety.

There's not a lot of chemistry between the actors in any of the scenes. These are all great-looking performers, several of whom have been favorites of mine in other movies, but none held my interest in these scenes.

This is a bare-bones release. Aside from the feature (138 minutes) there is a ten minute behind-the-scenes segment (which isn't particularly interesting, but does a pretty good job of showing how they actually film a scene). There's a scene selection menu, of course, as well as an option to see the popshots. There's also a photo gallery and a small assortment of trailers for other films.

The only other feature is auto-restart, meaning that the film will keep playing over and over again if you don't stop it.

I just didn't find this movie interesting at all. The sex scenes were too formulaic and uninspired. I didn't feel compelled to watch them, as there was no real setup for the scenes and no chemistry between the performers to make them exciting.
