Bayba: The 110 BJ's by Eurotica - review by Gary

Bayba obsesses over having as much sex as possible, and being the absolute best at it. She also prides herself on her oral abilities. Each frame of this graphic novel illustrates another sexual act with a different partner. Eventually she enters a contest to be “The Ultimate Bitch”. The record she is trying to beat for this contest, is to bring 110 guys to orgasm in 24 hours. (Lisa Sparxxx did 919 guys in 24 hours on Sunday Oct. 16th, 2004)

Artwork: The artwork is slick, but very simple. It has a commercial artist feel to it, like it was not someone’s personal project but more of a commissioned job. I might be wrong about that, it is just my impression.

Story: There is not really much of a story, but I guess significantly more than in your average porno flick. Everything builds towards a single event in the end, and I felt like it ended on more of a dull thud, than a big glorious bang! The images and scenes are pretty self explanatory, so the written story is almost unnecessary.

Action: Non-stop! I will say this, I seriously doubt that I have ever seen such a quantity of sexual activity in any other adult comic or graphic novel. Normally the whole comic is made up of multiple illustrations over the course of a few sex acts, whereas this comic is like a photo album. It is a series of snapshots; each one is from an entirely different sexual encounter.

Originality: I think it is a pretty typical and boring stereotype of the average unimaginative male fantasy, that is very obviously disguised as something more interesting than it really is. But none of this really takes anything away from the story or the action, and in a few places it even leads to something more unique.

Aside from Bayba being attractive there are a few insignificant details that really made this graphic novel more enjoyable and funny (at least for me). Everyone that she had sex with was a large bulky half man, half pig type creature. There was semen dripping out of and off of everything, even out of her armpit in the one frame. In the third frame of the book, she is kneeling before a heart shaped glory hole… now that is classy!

I would like to think that some of the details in this book were just imaginative, and extensions of the creators views and interests, but they did seem a little contrived. Maybe this was to broaden the appeal of the book, and narrow the stereotype margin, by simply putting a penis on Bayba and pig heads on the men. Otherwise it would have just catered to a typical unoriginal male fantasy; a hot sex-starved bitch, who lives to fuck anything that moves. I definitely feel like I am beginning to over think the symbolism a little bit, but it did seem really obvious to me.

I’ve had this graphic adult novel for a while. Whenever I come across it in my daily travels I still pick it up, flip through it, and enjoy looking at the pictures. I will admit that I have never actually used this book as a ‘Marital Aid’ (if you catch my meaning, wink wink). I would like to eventually pick up the other Bayba books that are out, and see more pictures of Bayba’s sexual exploits! :)
