Wowee! What a
fun and fabulous movie, not that I'd expect anything less from the amazing Nina Hartley. I've watched many of her "Guides to... " as well as the erotica/porn movies she has starred in. I really enjoyed this one, which was a combo of the two styles; both educational and super sexy!
Basically, she goes through the making of a porn movie; from meeting the talent, to talking with the director, to planning out who goes in to which position when ("so we each get two vag and one A? I mean, unless of course you want two A!"). It's really interesting to take a look behind the scenes, to see them talk things out and figure out exactly what will work for everyone there. One of the women said she hated the position "Cowgirl" so Nina jumped in and offered to take it. It was a lot different than one might expect.
The only issue I had with the film is that Rita, who starts out the film with Nina, and has a really hot scene later on, speaks very quietly, is a little hard to understand, and is kind of choppy, in that you can tell she's reading off the monitor the whole time. I'd much rather there be a second person like Nina who really just speaks her mind about things, and is knowledgeable enough that she doesn't usually need prompts. However, Rita's scene at the end of the film was delicious, so I'm really not complaining much.
It's a great film, one good for people of any gender to watch, and would also be fun for couples to view as well. It's very sex-positive and female friendly too, which is great, and offers some wonderful words of wisdom usable by anyone, regardless of sex, gender, orientation, or whether you even plan on going into the adult industry. I will definitely be recommending this one to all my friends!
