Position Of The Day Playbook: Sex Every Day In Every Way review

The Position Of the Day Playbook: Sex Every Day In Every Way is just as entertaining but only moderately more useful than its predecessor, Position Of the Day. It also contains a different sexual position for every day of the year, and unlike the first book, there is no disclaimer that one-fourth to one-third of these positions are literally impossible!

It is a thick book bound in a small format, like I like my sex manuals, and has a huge variety of positions from which to choose. Each position is usefully illustrated, even if the illustrations are far from being beautiful works of art. Unlike the first book, the Position Of the Day Playbook actually does provide some information on each position, even if some of the information is questionable and seems geared more toward humor than useful advice. Information provided includes Calories Burned (somewhat useful… maybe…?), Equipment that may come in handy, the Benefits and/or Hazards of the position, a Rating chart for the position and a section for notes. The calorie counts seem negligible, at best, and the equipment and benefits/hazards are often more entertaining than useful (ex. Equipment = a helmet and a six-pack and Hazard = vomiting and premature death).

Again, though, like the first book, this book is remarkably entertaining, containing some truly challenging and unique positions with over-the-top names. Combined with the humorous suggestions on the positions, this makes this book even more entertaining than its predecessor.

Overall, the Position Of the Day Playbook is not the most practical or useful manual of sexual positions out there. However, it does offer some useful suggestions for the adventurous (and flexible) and some very entertaining reading. Some of the positions are duplicated from the first book, but there is enough new material in here, and enough suggestions, to make it at least moderately useful to most couples.
