Reading this should be mandatory!

A must read, and not just for beginners. Even the more advanced in the subject will find they still learn a trick or two.

extremely useful review
I first got this book around two and a half years ago. Having had pleasant experiences with someone who had taken the time to educate them self on the subject matter and seeing just how effective a little knowledge could be, I decided to look into picking up a similar book. Knowing that men can be easily offended I figured it was worth having a good book on the subject on hand so I could casually loan it out if necessary.

After a little searching for books on the subject “She Comes First” came the most highly recommended and for good reason. After waiting patiently for the book to arrive I was glad when it finally came. The book itself has a wonderful cover, it very elegantly represents the subject matter without being vulgar or pornographic.

Written by a man called Ian Kerner, He explains that after years of suffering with feelings of sexual inadequacy caused by premature ejaculation, he set about finding other more fulfilling ways to please a woman. It is clear to me that his search was not in vain.

He clearly knows the subject matter inside and out, literally! And explains in simple, but extremely accurate terms, the complete stages and sexual responses that lead a woman to orgasm.

Additionally he talks a bit about the history of female sexuality. He tells the reader about the origin of some of the confusion and myths surrounding female anatomy and orgasms. After giving it to my current partner to read, both he and I agree that his technique improved greatly.

My one and only issue with the book really is that the author gears the entire thing towards orgasm, and says a number of times that you shouldn’t start a session of cunnilingus without making her come. While we all love orgasms, sometimes I just want a nice bit of play without the pressure of orgasm hanging over the whole situation.

Other then this smallest of problems, I think it is over all very well written and a great source of information for anyone who wants to know just how to please a woman.
Follow-up commentary
After three years of owning this book it continues to do both myself and my partner great favours. A re-read of certain chapters from time to time always helps to remind my partner of some of the golden rules when it comes to building a woman's arousal. This really is a great book to get out every once in a while to advise on new techniques or just to spice things up.

With several reads of this over the years, I still find it very orgasm focused and I would personally disagree that a woman needs to have an orgasm every time, but one thing that I can't disagree with is that these tips work! A highly recommended read for couples.

Sounds like a good read. I found it funny when this book was brought into the movie Transformers 3, but the subject matter makes sense. I may not agree that every session of cunnilingus should lead to orgasm (some women just don't enjoy being stimulated that way that much) I think it is critical to have both parties be satisfied at the end of a sex session. Thanks for the great review.

Thank you for the review! Although I don't have a boyfriend to make read this, I was considering getting this for the purpose of educating myself on how to teach and explain these things to men (as it is written by a man). It sounds worth a read-over.
