This a wonderful collection of vignettes that are spread across the board in their content. A story or two for almost anyone's tastes can be found contained in this lovely sample of erotica. From sweet and sensual to rough and fast, I was able to enjoy flipping through page after page.
You will find some borderline taboo fantasies contained within the cover, including a unique perspective of a nervous but tantalized older woman with a younger man, covering her apprehension and excitement. A fascinating window into a fiery young woman's prowl for a butch to please her, tame her, and the ensuing sweetness... I was pleasantly surprised to find more than one female/female pairing in the book too. There were also some touches of kink which I found titillating.
Not all of the stories are light hearted or frivolous, but some have more serious words, with some depth to them. I found humor and sex spread across the pages, things that made me squirm, things that made me wet, but one story in particular took me aback and brought tears to my eyes. To anyone who has questioned the comfortableness they have with their sexuality, "That Girl" by Cherry Bomb in this book is a must read. "I just want someone to see me. More than being looked at, I want to be seen. And there is no greater moment of clarity for me than being hot and spent, tangled between sheets, skin on skin..."
I ended up reading this entire collection of short stories over three different sittings. Each time I was curled up on my bed, right next to my handy collection of bedside drawers with all my fun toys. Variety is the spice of life, especially in bed, and the differing perspectives and scenarios really tickled me pink. I especially enjoyed some of the writing that conveyed outdoor play, as that's something I (and I'm sure many others) have yet to experience.
I think the editor of this collection did a fantastic job choosing tales for a wide variety of tastes, and her introduction at the beginning of the book is well worth a read. In summary, the twenty stories contained in Fast Girls' pages definitely merit a look or three

I set this fun collection of erotica to the side for a bit, so that when I re-read it, it would be a bit more fresh and fun. I definitely enjoyed the stories and still found the variety extremely enjoyable. Still a recommended purchase for those who find written erotica appealing!
