Sanatorium - dvd by Zero Tolerance - review by Berry

Whoo! Not your typical porn flick! That pretty much sums it up. More a deep-thinking thriller with a lot of graphic sex scenes, Sanatorium is a refreshing change from your everyday craptastic porn plot, bad acting, and crappy filming. The movie featured fantastic costumes, eye contact among actors, well-delivered lines and realistic acting. Two thumbs up!

Photography and production is great. Good locations, fabulous costumes (I hear Tabitha designed all her costumes) and the stunts were crazy - how about that suicide suspension? shiver....

The cover art is great. The back of the dvd (and the matching over-sized paper case) show various sex scenes. I did dislike the fact that they used such a large cardboard book-like sleeve, as I don't think it's very economical, paper-wise. And the over-sized sleeve makes the shipping packaging have to be super large to accommodate it.

I could see how some people wouldn't like this movie – it's more of an art film than a porn film. It doesn't go quickly from sex scene to sex scene. The music adds to the drama and suspense of the film and some people might find it a little stressful (which might kill any erotic tension developed).

There might be some viewers who think this movie is confusing or hard to follow. Granted, it does take your concentration to follow the storyline, so it's not recommended that you miss any of the movie. Definitely pause the flick if you feel the urge to get it on with your partner!
