About author

Sue Johanson is a sex Goddess. I remember staying up late to watch her show, Talk Sex with Sue Johanson, when I was younger and laughing at the thought of an elderly woman being the know-all, tell-all of matters regarding sex, but as I grew older, I realized that she was pretty much the mother of all things sexual and she soon became my guide to anything and everything I wanted to know about sex. Therefore, It was no surprise when I saw the Sex, Sex & More Sex title up for grabs at Eden Fantasys, that I would take it, read it, and love it.

Sue Johanson mixes her knowledge as a nurse and sex educator to lay the facts out for you in the plainest and simplest terms possible and she does an EXCELLENT job. She does mention several times through-out the book that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and morals. She is just the informative source. Sue Johansen was a sex-talk host, has now written or correlated on three books, backs a line of Sex Toys from California Exotics(The Royal Line) and works with Passion Parties(an adult novelty party hosting service.)

Content / Style / Audience

Sex, Sex & More Sex is written in an A to Z, question and answer format. Topics ranging from Abortion to Yeast Infections. The book is formatted to show real-life questions from a clinic run by Sue Johanson and people from her talk show. They were all put together and formulated into what Sue refers to as a "journal" of sexual information. Throughout the questions Sue adds resources for further information on each of the topics listed. Making this a reference book, of sorts, to all the questions you have been afraid to ask, but have really wanted the answers for and where to find them.

I contemplated listing all of the topics in this book but fear you guys may get exhausted. There are 110 topics covered in the 292 pages of this book and all of them are very informative. Like I said before, if you feel as though you have not gotten enough information from the topics, Sue offers other resources for extended reading for almost every single topic.

This is a great book for newly involved individuals and even the most experienced, because it touches almost every single topic imaginable. I think everyone could purchase this, read it, and walk away with a little more knowledge than when they first began. I also think that parents who are not sure how to talk to their children about sex, would enjoy either purchasing this book for their children or purchasing it as an informative source to read and talk about with their child or young adult.

Design

The way Sex, Sex, & More Sex is put together makes it ideal for quick searching to find answers to your questions. Since it is set up similar to an encyclopedia, with a table of contents, finding your topic and your answer should take minutes. This book is very well put together and while it is paper-back, the binding is great. I have read intently in the bath, at work, at home, and in the car, with no spinal creasing what so ever. Since I have read the book several times now, the front is a little flipped at the bottom and top, but even still, the book is in pristine condition. The cover is smooth with no embossed lettering and the back includes a few statements from publications and a short biography and informative description of the book. Regan Books did a great job publishing this for Sue, and Sue Johanson did an even better job placing the contents of the book together.

Also, the book measures approximately 7 1/2 inches long and 5 inches wide, making it a great book to take with you anywhere!

Great Review very detailed, I used to watch her too and had the same thoughts about her knowing it all

I, too, would like to know a few of the topics. I guess I assumed the questions were arranged alphabetically (each one, not by topic) with the way you responded. do you feel that this arrangement makes the most sense, though? It seems a bit arbitrary.
