Shh.. Don’t Call your Safe Word...

extremely useful review
While I wasn't as impressed as I was with the prequel, "Carrie's Story", this novel was still a great book in itself. You get to follow Carrie as she tells the story of her year away from Johnathan while she was with a Master who strictly trained her, trained her as a pony girl, and made her serve with other submissives.
Pros:
Great story, get a Dominant's and submissive's viewpoint, human pony racing, perfect length.
Cons:
The switching points of view can get a little confusing.
Experience
Great novel. I ended up reading it at college between classes. (Oops?) Pretty attention-grabbing, and it kept me thinking about the plot long after I'd put the book down.
I should also add that this novel is pretty gender-inclusive. It includes female and male Dominants as well as female and male submissives.

Seems like a good read - great review!
Eep!!! Jonathan is back!!! YAY! Ok, I am a sucker for lovers. I sooooo need this book now. I am kind of interested in the Pony Play aspect, I thought Carrie's story really made it look graceful and amazing
Great review Mistress Kay!
This sounds interesting, I might have to pick up a copy.
Great review. I am a huge fan of Carrie's Story and had heard similar things to your review about this book not being as good. I think I'll give it a read anyway though.
@KinkyShay It's not horridly bad. It's like... If it was a scale out of 1 to a 100, Safe Word is about an 85 compared to Carrie's Story. Still worth a read.
Giant pony races.
J's Alley: They make the pony aspect so sensual and hot really. I've been interested in it now since reading it, and I never thought I'd be interested. It makes it look even cooler in this book.
Good book review, thanks.
Very nice review!
This does sound like a good one.
Good review!
