Sink Your Teeth Into This Sexy Book!

Vampires are sexy, lesbians are sexy, combining those two has to be super sexy right? Well in this case, yes! Delilah Devlin does a wonderful job picking stories that are less traditional in nature, and some that don't even focus on the vampires themselves, but still have that aspect front and center somehow. If you're a fan of vampire erotica or slightly kinky lesbian erotica, you'll enjoy pretty much all of the stories this book has to offer.

Content / Style / Audience

The stories in this book are geared towards those who enjoy reading about lesbian erotica, and that's about all they all have in common. Well, aside from the whole vampire thing of course. The stories in here rum the gamut from vampires getting sexy with each other to people getting sexy where there happen to be vampires. There's a wide range of magic and myth and a light essence of kink to all of the stories.

The Gift Of Lilith is one of the stories that isn't about a vampire per se, but instead just a woman who is immortal and can pass her gift on to another woman, allowing her to continue aging. In this story it's more than just a special skill, for lack of better wording, and becomes an actual present.

In Beloved we find two ancient Egyptian gods, Sekhmet and Hathor, coming together after eons apart. Well, more like Sekhmet keeps trying to run from Hathor because she worries she'll destroy her in a fit of lust and can't bear to be in a world where Hathor doesn't exist, but Hathor keeps pursuing Sekhmet because after all, Ra did make them part of each other.

Night at the Wax Museum offers yet another twist on vampire lore; where this time a vampire is trapped in a museum due to a very sneaky manager. The female security guard intervenes and is able to save the vampire, and set her free.

I could go on from here, but all of the stories are just as great, and just as diverse.

Design

This is pretty much your standard paperback. Treat it well and it'll last you a while, beat it up and it won't last as long. The cover features two women about to kiss and does say "lesbian vampire erotica" on the cover, so it's not the most discreet thing out there if you're looking to read in public.

Experience

It did take me a while to get through this book, but not because I couldn't get into the stories. Mostly because I've been distracted with the holidays coming up. Either way, I tried like hell to make time to read this book and when I finally did finish it, I wished there were more stories. There were some that didn't light my candle much, but there were others that got it hot and burning brightly. The diversity of vampire myths and lores and all of that was awesome to read as well. There are a lot of "can't go in the daylight, sleep in coffins" type vampire stories, and it was refreshing to see so many new takes on the subject. If you're into slightly less than traditional vampire erotica, you'll enjoy this book.
