Playgirl: Wild With Anticipation - dvd by Playgirl TV - review by Library Girl

This DVD is geared toward an audience seeking erotic sexual scenes that are pretty mainstream. Produced by Playgirl, it's female oriented in that it features more foreplay than some videos. Once it gets down to it, the sex is graphic, and the camera is right up in there for a lot of shots. There is one scene featuring two women together, but the rest of it is heterosexual couples. No actors of any ethnicity other than Caucasian appear to be featured.

When I'm not into a video, I start picking up on little things about the actors, the music, or the setting and get distracted. I found all sorts of things to be distracted by in this video. There were breast implant scars, a butt pimple, and a poor woman who had the worst bikini wax rash ever. The actors just had a lack of chemistry. The woman in the first segment laid there getting pounded without much reaction. There was only one segment that clicked for me, with a really strong guy. Not only did he pick the woman up and have sex with her while standing up, but he flipped her around and landed her right on his cock to return to the couch with her in reverse cowgirl. That was it for me. The rest was a bit of a bore.

The best part of this DVD is actually the commercial at the beginning before you get to the disk menu. It's an ad for a game/sex instruction manual called The Playgirl Virtual Encyclopedia of Sex. It features avatars much like a popular game that starts with "s." You make them have sex in all sorts of positions. They are anatomically correct and it looks like a blast.

In comparison, the bonus scenes on the DVD are average. There are some deleted scenes and a "solo" scene with a man. I don't get these as I don't find them erotic myself, but they must appeal to somebody as they are on a lot of Playgirl DVDs.

I thought the sound levels on this DVD were off. I really like to hear the sex sounds and find them a turn on. With this DVD the music level was above that of the actors and drowned them out. Then some of the choices for music were strange. There was a scene with crazy loud jazz that reminded me of The Simpsons theme.

This movie has a copyright of 2010, but the one girl on girl scene could be a direct riff on Black Swan. It was hilarious. They were even in a black leotard and a white leotard and were competitive before they started going down on each other. Pretty funny.
