How to Be a Bedroom Goddess review

How to Be a Bedroom Goddess is a real treat. It provides helpful nudges for those who aren't yet fully open (pardon the pun) to themselves or their partner.

When this book arrived, I thought it was very cute with its diminutive size and beautifully illustrated cover. Holding this book in my hands and doing a casual fan flip of the pages, I had little hope... no, wait, let me be honest. I couldn't imagine how this 6x6 inch, 64 page piece of light reading could transform anyone in the bedroom or otherwise.

As attractive as the packaging of this book was, I had no expectations of going from modest to goddess by mere pictures alone. This sort of book is cleverly disguised as one of those typical "impulse buy" books that are found at the counter of your local book store. You know the ultra, cutesy colorful books like "The Blue Day Book" that you'll buy and gift at least once in your life, to your mom on Mother's Day, your BFF after a bad breakup or her pet dies, or your sibling that cries during the Folgers Christmas commercials.

How To Be a Bedroom Goddess reminded me of the age old adage "never judge a book by its cover." I was delightfully impressed by Des Taylor lush and evocative illustrations which aren't confined to the cover alone; they add an additional sultry depth.

Sophia Mortensen sets us on a journey of becoming a bedroom goddess with fascinating history nuggets describing sexuality and lifestyles throughout ancient cultures. "Ancient Egypt was the first society to freely allow sexual diversity among its ruling class; not only gay lifestyles flourished, but also cross-dressing and exhibitionism."

Even if you're a history major with a minor in sexual deviance, you'll be enlightened & inspired by the fun facts. I particularly enjoyed the examples that the author provided at the end of each history section. Some of these suggestions promote "interactivity" and range from vanilla to va va voom. One particular line tickles me every time I think of it. "Intercourse should not always involve male ejaculation. Just something to think about as we girls get our bedroom goddess mojo in full swing.

Progressively you'll learn how to become a modern goddess. There are five points to the modern goddess lifestyle plan a plan that seeks to nourish our bodies and soul. How to Be a Bedroom Goddess is a real treat. It provides helpful nudges for those who aren't yet fully open (pardon the pun) to themselves or their partner.

This is a feel good book that does not have to be raunchy to make a point.

Read this book - I suggest it to all. No matter if you’re just learning self love or if you've been on your path of discovery for some time. Remember; you don't have to wait for someone else to make the move, you can be proactive; "Taking the Lead" and "A Little Domination never hurt anyone". Embrace your kingdom and nurture that strong & beautiful Bedroom Goddess in all of us.
