The Best Bachelorette Party Book is very cute and has a lot of good ideas. This is a good book for a person who has never thrown one of these parties. I liked the games it had in it, but wished there were more. This is a good beginner book. There are some awesome ideas for invitations and themes. It is important to have a theme for the party to create a little more interesting party. I also liked that it suggests a male stripper making it like the male bachelor party. This book also goes into details such as setting the date of the party to getting everyone to the party.
There are some great tips on transportation to and from the party so that everyone can drink and travel safely and in style. There are all sorts of game types included in this book. There are regular ice breaker games to get the party started to drinking games to make it really interesting. There are also some very interesting and delicious recipes included in this book. They are great ideas and I will be using some of them this summer.
If you need help with a toast to the bride this book contains some cute toast and quotes to get you started. There is also some great information on coed parties and Bachelor parties. This booked is primarily focused on the bride, but the groom is also included so that both parties can enjoy there last night out. I liked the information on the easy to make party favors. This book is very funny also. There are some great jokes made in the information and it made me laugh very much. Over all this is a good book to start with and I will be using a lot of the tips provided.
Question; does this book assume heterosexuality of all the party guests, or does it include activities for those who aren't quite so penis hungry? I always wonder about that with bachelorette kits and books...
Sounds like a book that covers most of the bases! Unfortunately, I'm at an age where most of my friends are married, so haven't had a chance to throw a truly perverted bachelorette party, complete with penis cakes, straws, and little wind-up toys. Ah well--maybe some day! Seems this one would be a good basic start, though, and is priced right!
I didn't see to much on same sex orientation in the book. It basically goes over stuff for the bride and groom. I am sure you can think of substitutions for penises though.
I wish I had had this book when my friend got married a month ago!
