Carrie's Story - book discontinued by Cleis Press Inc. - review by Miss Jenn

I have been eyeballing this book for a while now, and I have been tempted to get it...I finally decided to get it and see what its all about. Lately I have been thinking about what I wanted to do sexually that I have not done before. I have been interested into the whole S/M thing, being tied up, spanked, etc. but never really knew what it was about. I thought a book like this could maybe tell me what it is that I am missing and give me an idea on whether or not I would like it.

I was really excited when I got this in the mail. I picked up the book and could not put it down! It was so intriguing, so fascinating. I found myself getting turned on at every other page. I could not believe how hot some of the scenes were. I had to have my husband help me get through the book - some parts were just too hot to just read and not do anything about it!

I don't want to give away any parts of this book. I cannot say if it's for someone who is already in the scene, but for beginners I can say this is a great read. A great introduction into the world that is kink and S/M and ponies. I personally could never be a pony, and I don't think I could ever be completely submissive to the point where I am a slave. But I definitely can take points from the book and apply them to my life.

Carrie is a young woman who works as a Bike Messenger in New York. In the book, she retells how she meets her master and how she comes about agreeing to the terms of their relationship. They have an agreement, though sometimes the lines are fuzzy and the rules are thrown out. Eventually, he tells her he wants to sell her at a Slave auction. He prepares her for this auction. She is worried and concerned at first, but then finds her place and finds that she is interested in this. There are whips, chains, buckets in the corner to pee in, sucking dick, being shared with his friends, ponies, anal, and so much more. This story is a great read for all who are interested in this kind of kink and even for those who are interested in learning in this lifestyle.

One thing I was not too happy about, I hated the way it ended! I wished there was more afterwards. Or even a second book to finish the story. I want to follow her journey. I want to see how it goes, how everything works out for her, how she likes it, and how she continues to become a better slave. That's the one part that frustrated me about this book - I really hate a drop off ending.

I learned so much from this book, I cannot wait to learn more about this lifestyle and maybe engage in it a bit. It's always a good time to learn something new. And finding my sexuality is what this whole journey is about, right?

I've read this book a second time. I still love it. I just need to get the second one! I am really excited, and plan to get it soon.
