Taking a more medical approach, it provides information that is rich enough to revisit again and again. The approachable tone of the work and the refreshing outlook of the Taoists towards sexuality make this book a classic.
This is not a conventional orgasm book. Its Taoist sexual practices are based upon similar premises as yogic and Tantric sexual practices, in their shared focus on creating and directing the flow of energy. It is also co-authored by a medical doctor. Interestingly it proposes energetic techniques to regulate menstrual flow and menopausal symptoms.
