Tickle His Pickle review

The content was very readable and easy to understand. It wasn't stuffed with technical terms, and it wasn't crude; just full of helpful hints to spice up your sex life.
Published: May 13, 2008
Pros:
Easy to read, informative, uses common terms without being trashy.
Cons:
Doesn't have many, but more experienced individuals may not find much that is new to them.

This was my raffle prize at a ladies only party, and I must say, was a very interesting read. The content was very readable and easy to understand. It wasn't stuffed with technical terms, and it wasn't crude; just full of helpful hints to spice up your sex life.

Dr. Allison has a definite knack for breaking down the accurate anatomy of the penis, while at the same time not making it sound like you’re back in Anatomy 101. Not only do you get a better understanding of how the penis works, but you also learn about the sexual response cycle, and what this means. While that may not sound interesting to many people, for those of us that like to study everything inside and out and know the ‘why’ and ‘how’, it adds to the book as a whole as something more than just another sexual help rag.

There is everything from different ways to use your hands, different oral sex positions, and for those of us that are more adventurous, anal play. It covers all the bases of male pleasure and at the same time does it in a way that is empowering and encouraging. It also has a chapter devoted to subjects like impotence and premature ejaculation, and another on safe sex; something refreshing to see as a lot of products simply seem to focus on potent individuals and at the same time skirt around the issue of diseases and protection.

While I didn't learn anything exceptionally new, it was nice to know that, well, you know what you're doing. While it was indeed fun to read - and definitely a hit with the girls at the office - it's mainly a tool to boost your confidence into trying new things and communicating with your partner; which, all in all, makes it worth having around the house. I've even got five or six friends who want to borrow it or want it for their birthdays.

I'd give it five stars for the simple fact that Tickle His Pickle was an enjoyable, held my attention, and wasn't full of itself.
