Red Hot Touch: Genital Massage for Women - dvd - review by Dragon

New World Sex Education has published a series of DVDs about sexual techniques which were originally based on the book "Red Hot Touch: A head to toe handbook for mind-blowing orgasms" by Jaiya and Jon Hanauer. There are five DVDs in the series. These include "Erotic touch for sexual positions," "Erogenous zones and orgasmic massage," "Genital massage for men," Genital massage for women," and "Exquisite anal massage."

This DVD has been produced with substantial attention to detail. The sexual educational scenes are set up with three carefully designed stages. These do not look like cheap hotel rooms, but carefully arranged luxurious and romantic environments with substantial candles. There was a color theme to each stage- black, red or blue. The DVD itself can be watched with music and narration or with music only. It is divided into 18 different scenes to allow you to review specific information.

The main program for genital massage for women is approximately 30 minutes long. The DVD uses formal or technical language. It begins very simply with the idea of "cupping." Place one hand in a cupping position over the woman's vulva while you place the other on her heart. This transitions to various movement patterns. There is substantial emphasis throughout the movie to check in with your partner. This can be "vary the speed to your partner's liking" or "let her ask for what she wants or to show you the angle, speed, etc of what she would want."

The program begins gently, but shows three different ways to add oil before moving to a labia massage. There is a reminder to warm the oil. Oil can be directly dripped onto the women's body, dripped through the partner's fingers, or applied with one's hands. There was a specific two hand stroke that begins to tease and gently touch the clit. Then you might want to move to "Violin bow" where you pretend your index finger is like the bow of a violin and you stroke gently.

The program moves to gently, non-intrusive ways to determine if your partner is ready for penetration. It includes techniques to find and massage both the g-spot and the a-spot, and then a technique that hits both the clit, g-spot and a-spot simultaneously.

DVD extras include a narrative about the Red Hot Touch products, production and filming. There is a slideshow of images taken during the training workshop and the filming, and previews of several other films. The previews include the 5 DVD set for Red Hot Touch, a movie called "Femme a Femme" which appears to be about women pleasuring women. The remaining previews are from a different production company and included such titles as "Evolutionary Masturbation: An intimate guide to male orgasm." Scenes showed unique positions and locations outside. Another title was "Uranus." This film was about teaching men the pleasure to be found in self anal massage. These previews were about films that were a different quality than Red Hot Touch.

I found this to be an excellent product. I loved the clarity of the description and the accuracy between the visual filming and the narration. This film offers a great deal of information in an easy to understand format without being overwhelmed. As a woman, I particularly appreciated the use of three different couples for illustration purposes. I also found the repeated reminders to check in with your partner appropriate. My husband asked me during one early technique if he thought that I would like that particular technique. It was the one thing in the entire DVD that interested me the least.

In the past I have watched a few sex education videos, and have often been distracted by poor sets, poor technical aspects, inconsistencies, etc. My conclusion about this DVD is that I want to own the remaining DVDs in this series.

We finally had the opportunity and the right mood to watch this again at a time to actually try the techniques simultaneously with watching the DVD. I really appreciate how it starts with a reminder to start gently and demonstrates a position that is essentially nothing more than touch and breathing to promote relaxation and trust. The pacing of the DVD is fantastic for working with. The female partner that is receiving the massage can either watch or close her eyes and listen. The partner giving can both observe and try techniques.

Each woman is different so the sequencing may not be perfect for any individual, but the variety of techniques given is wonderful. External massage, clitoral stimulation, and internal/external massage.

I think this is a fantastic DVD and couple resource. I can't wait for more in this series.
