This toy was definitely designed
52 Alluring Sex Games For Lovers is a deck of cards that, in my opinion, would have been more appropriately named “52 Alluring Sex SUGGESTIONS For Lovers.” None of the activities on the cards really constitute a game, but rather a suggestion for spicing up your love life. On the other hand, the deck is an actual deck of playing cards, so with some creativity the deck itself could be used as a game; just play your favorite card game, and allow the winning player to select the activity from the winning hand, select the activity from the highest card in the winning hand, play 52 Pick-Up in the nude and perform the activity on the last card picked up, etc.
All of the usual suspects are here, in terms of suggestions: food play, erotic massage, light bondage, sex in public, spanking, vibrators, water games, ice play, and many more. There were even a few activities I considered a bit on the unusual side, such as taking a shower fully clothed (earns a definite “eeew” from me!) and using a child’s pool in your bedroom for oil play.
Each card contains a description of the activity, as well as some suggestions for how to perform it effectively or originally. The text is fairly thorough; rather than just a one-line suggestion to “shave each other,” the cards go into detail explaining why this activity is sexy and what benefits there are to be gained from trying it.
The artwork and production values of the cards leave something to be desired. They are not unattractive, just rather boring. The color scheme is a fairly faded pink and gray, and the (albeit attractive) photo of a man and woman about to kiss is printed on the back of every card (necessary for a deck of playing cards, I know). I just wish the deck could have been a tad more glossy or colorful.
Overall, though, for the price, this deck contains a wide variety of suggestions that would effectively spice up your sex life if you work through the entire deck, or add the element of surprise if you choose a random card for the night’s festivities.
I still think this deck stands up well against other decks of sexual suggestions, just because it goes into an in-depth explanation of the activity and why/how it is sexy. I really just wish the production value were of a little better quality. My cards have started to look somewhat faded and worn without being heavily used.
