A Day at the Beach

If you are looking for a great on the go make up, then look no farther. It is the perfect size to slip into your purse for on the go touch ups and re-applies. You wont need to worry about it opening and spilling all over your bag and everything is in one place! What more could you ask for?

Use

This is a great little make up kit for on the go use, or at home. It has just about everything you need to complete a beautiful look for both daytime and night time outings. It comes with three lip glosses, four eye shadow shades and one blush and one bronzer. It also comes with a handy lip brush and an eye shadow stick, with the sponge like ends on it.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The Bella in Bloom make up kit reminds me of a high quality make up. It goes on smoothly and stays on throughout the day. I don't really care for the texture to the lip gloss. It has a sticker consistency which is hard to apply if you have dry lips. I tend to apply a light clear gloss and apply the color gloss over it, that way I am able to get a smooth finish, which is also moisturizing.

Taste / Aroma

This make up has no scent that I could tell. It has that basic unscented foundation scent. Anyone would be able to use it. I do wish that the lip glosses had some sort of flavor, being unflavored doesn't make me want to apply it for daily use. It is a little but blah, for the lack of a better word.

Performance

I was able to apply this in the morning and it lasted through my work day, which was an 8 hour shift. I did notice that when I tend to touch my face more, I can begin to see the make up on my hands, so it isn't smudge proof, but if you leave it be, it should last for a few hours. The lip gloss does wear off quickly, for me it only lasts about 30 minutes before I need to re-apply.

I used a basic mild make up remover and everything came off my face very easily. It didn't make my face break out or anything, which is always a good thing. I have really sensitive skin and it tends to react to harsher products, but I didn't see any adverse effects with Bella in Bloom.

I really loved the effect of the bronzer and blush together. I added a really nice glow, I looked like I had spent the day at the beach and gotten a nice light tan. Everyone was asking how I was getting such an amazing glow on my skin.

Packaging

I love the magnetic case that Bella in Bloom comes in. It has a place for everything and everything in its place. I can easily slip it into my purse and it has a mirror in the case, so its very easy to apply on the go, if you need a refresher.

The case is made from a very thick cardboard and has magnets on the corners to keep it closed. I haven't had any issues with it opening in my purse and spilling every where. Its the perfect purse make up.
Follow-up commentary
After about 2 weeks of using the Bella in Bloom, the compartments started to fall out. I ended up throwing it out because it lost its novelty when it began breaking.

Wow. This seems pretty nice. Thanks for the review! Do you think the colors would work well for any skin tone or is there a specific complexion for these colors? They seem pretty light, but ick to sticky lip gloss! LOL.

Yes, I do think that the colors would work with any skin tone. I am relatively fair skinned and the bronzer is a little darker on me. Someone with a more tanned tone would probably get a really nice "glow" effect also.
