Organic lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by vanilla&chocolate

I absolutely love this organic lip balm by Evolution of Smooth! It is USDA certified organic and has no chemicals or additives. Plus, it has a great taste and will thoroughly moisturize your lips. Because it is organic, natural, and chemical-free, it is safe for use by anyone who wants silky, great-tasting lips! This could be feasibly used even by children because of its incredible safety.

The container is different than your standard lip balm container in that it is sort of a cross between an egg and a sphere shape. It can be twisted open in the middle of the container, revealing the lip balm, which is shaped like a half of a sphere. A cool feature of the container is that it has a little grove in it on which your thumb can rest so that it is easier to grasp. To close, you simply replace the other half of the container and twist/screw it shut.

The texture of this lip balm is perfect. It is not waxy or sticky, yet on the other end of the spectrum, it will not quickly wear off your lips after 10 minutes in the way that other lip balms would. So, there is less need for constant reapplications! It stays on for a significant amount of time. It feels velvety and silky against the lips.

The taste of this lip balm is absolutely phenomenal! It is noticeable without being overpowering. One could best describe it by saying that it tastes like a pleasant mix of tropical fruits. It is subtle, but you just might find yourself licking it off of your lips because of how good it tastes!

The packaging is simple, consisting merely of the container itself wrapped in a layer of thin plastic bearing the product's name and flavor, along with the certification that it is organic.

I use this lip balm daily. I apply a bit more before bedtime so that when I wake up, my lips feel smooth, healthy, and moisturized! It is also fantastic to apply to your lips before applying lipstick or other lip color so that your lips do not look scaly.

I really can't say enough good things about EOS lip balm! I continue to use it every day, either alone or as a base for lip gloss/lipstick.
