A germs worse nightmare.
If you are looking for an affordable and quality cleaner, the Advanced Smart Cleaner Foaming Toy Sanitizer is a great choice. I have even stocked up on this product. This is not a “wipe and go product”. You should not really use that method too frequently; this is not a cleaner that is okay to skip steps with. It will leave residues that can irritate skin. It has a light medicinal scent.Published: November 12, 2011
Pros:
Great cleaner that works well and lasts for very long time, has a great smell and stores easy.
Cons:
Not convent, irritable ingredients, medicinal scent
Advanced Smart Cleaner Foaming Toy Sanitizer comes in an eight ounce, clear, air free bottle with a pump to dispense foam with the cap. The dispenser works well, easy to use and structurally sound. It does not leak or spill when tipped over or thrown around (my cat believes everything belongs to him) but without the cap over it, it can be accidentally pumped and will leave a sticky mess. The smell is light and reminds me slightly of a sterile doctor’s office.
On the back of the label (it’s a rather nice and discreet label might I ad!).
“Ingredients: Triclosan, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfates, Propylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Purified Water. Sanitizes, Disinfects, Anti-bacterial, Odorless, Safe for all materials, Non-Greasy, Alcohol free, Non-irritating, Gentle Cleanser, Made in the USA.”
“Made in the USA” is kinda cool but Triclosan which is the cleansing punch to this product can irritate the skin for some and should be used carefully. (Typically non harmful to most of the population) This is where the “Doctor’s Office” scent comes from. The smell is very similar to over the counter hand sanitizers but more delicate and faint. The smell does not remain on the toy and is gone along with the quick rinse. The germ killing power makes this great for keeping your toys clean and germ free but also a good choice for toy swapping and anal play.
It is non-greasy, alcohol free and will certainly disinfect. It only requires a single pump for small toys and a few for a larger behemoth. So the bottle will last a very long time.
It is easy to use even with the burden of having to rinse,
1. Pump on to toy
2. Gently rub onto toy
3. Rinse and replace cap
Overall I think this is a great cleanser!
Note: this product is only for washing toys not your own skin!

I still love this product; I use it for my more through clean up jobs. I have a feeling this bottle will last me basically forever.

harmful chemicals in toy cleaners
-
Is there any known harmful chemicals in toy cleaners I should look out for?
-
I just looked at the product page and that one happens to say that it is Glycerin free and paraben free, so I think that is all you have to worry about, but I am not an expert.
-
It depends if you're known to be allergic or sensitive to anything. If you aren't, then you should be ok with anything out there.
If a product isn't safe, it wouldn't be for sale. I'm talking verifiably unsafe, not "could be".

Wonderful review! Good to know this won't leak when properly capped (my cat also has a "everything is MINE" mentality).
