A great alternative!

As much as I love the idea of using this soap, I probably won't buy it again. If it's not going to get all of me clean then I can't really recommend it to anyone. I will say that it's a great alternative to regular soap but, it just doesn't work for me. I wish I liked it more because I love Sliquid!

Pros:
Glycerin-free, paraben-free, 100% vegan, hypoallergenic, gentle on skin.
Cons:
so gentle it won't remove deodorants on skin

Use

Sliquid Splash is described as "an alternative to traditional soap & water cleansers." I love to use it as an all over soap, but it doesn't get everything that a normal soap would. I find if I'm trying to get regular deodorant residue off of my skin it doesn't do much of anything. I do love using it all over because I feel like I'm not drying my skin out as much as I would be by using a bar soap but, it won't work for everything.

As with all Sliquid products, this product is free of DEA, gluten, glycerine, glycerol, parabens, PEG, propylene glycol, sorbitol, & sulphates. Also, this product is vegan friendly.

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Cocoamphoacetate, Coco Betaine, Coco Amide, Sea Salt, Citric Acid, EGMS, Potassium Sorbate, Essentail Oil Fragrances
    • Bath / shower

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Sliquid splash is comparable to (almost) any body wash or shampoo in consistency. It's a little bit thicker than a dish soap but a little bit thinner than a hand soap.

Taste / Aroma

I ordered Sliquid Splash without really looking at the scents. I thought I would like the Cucumber Melon scent but it was out of stock when I ordered so I ended up getting the Grapefruit thyme scent. I didn't expect to actually like the scent but I was pleasantly surprised. Grapefruit thyme is a light fresh, citrus scent. It smells like grapefruit; I don't get a lot of the thyme part of the scent.

Performance

I would say that Splash performed as well as I thought that it would. It works really great in a loofah and you won't need as much soap if you do use one (I sometimes do). I was actually really surprised it didn't come in a bigger bottle! My one concern would be that it won't get things like deodorant off your skin. But, I do like that it is natural and gentle.

Nice review. Interesting scent. Not something I'd pick, but citrus doesn't smell good on me generally. It always reminds me of kitchen cleaner.

Oh wow! I have wanted to try this stuff for a while, but haven't really cared enough to spend the $ for it and the more Sliquid I try, the less I want! I love love love that it's so safe and all, but I will not use anything that won't leave me totally squeaky clean! I'm a freak about that and since I use a lot of oils, lotions, etc, I don't think this would suit me How disappointing that it doesn't clean off deo and stuff! I really appreciate your review on this. Looks like I am going to have to stick with the less healthy stuff for now. Oh well. Lol.
